Everything was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and calm atmosphere. Pool table and Free car hire was a huge bonus. I could not hire a car as i do not have a valid licence but they offer a free car and you can sign up as a passenger! It was really nice to go see different places in Tasmania, especially when it is free. I also got to meet some really nice people to do the day trips with. I highly recommend booking at The Nook. I'll be back!

Hostel is in a great location with easy walking to anywhere in town and most tours picking you up at the door. Staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are a good size and clean, large kitchen with all the cooking things you could need plus cupboard and fridge/freezer to store food. Plus a free hire car, no catch just a deposit that gets returned and you pay to fill the tank after you use it. Amazing hostel would recommend :)

The Nook Backpackers! What do I say? This is the best place I have stayed by FAR! They hire out a car for FREE to guests! This is incredible, the public transport is pretty bad and tours or car hire is suuuuper expensive. This is such a nice and great thing to offer people. Other than that, the place is super clean and relaxed. Clearly well managed and maintained. Lots of nice places to sit and chill with nice plants all around. There is a nice deck area out the back and a BBQ. Really friendly staff. My bed was very comfortable and I had some rad people in my room. All round great experience. I'll be back Nook!

Fantastic staff, fantastic accommodation. Close to everything, only a 10 minute walk to Salamanca and waterfront and 5 minutes into central city. Friendly and helpful advice given at front desk. Free car hire is absolutely amazing!!! Never seen anything like it at any backpackers. Just a great place!

Staff are very knowledgable and super helpful. Patrons are quite well-behaved, good-natured folks. The hostel itself is clean (bathrooms included) and well-maintained... within a nice walk of things. At the time of writing, they provide breakfast cereal in the mornings, until 9:30. Baggage storage is available.
