Hello everyone!nI’ve stayed at many hostels in the past, but this one truly stands out as the best by far.nWhat makes it so special is the amazing manager, Mo. He’s a super nice guy who will always welcome you with a big smile the moment you arrive.nnHe handles everything—from reception to cleaning—completely on his own, yet he’s always cheerful and ready to help if you need anything.nI’ve stayed at this hostel for over a year in total, and I can honestly say it’s a place I’d love to come back to.nnHighly recommended!

A very pleasant stay, the place has a good vibe to it and the owner Mo I hope I am spelling that correctly, was probably one of the most friendly accommodation owners I've ever met.

I stayed at this hostel for three months, and it was hands down the best experience. Mo, the owner is simply amazing—one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. The atmosphere was like a big family, with incredible people that made every day special. The location is perfect, and the hostel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, this is it! 10/10, I’d recommend it 200%! We love you Mo!

My husband and I stayed several nights at Narrara Backpackers during a three week road trip around Tasmania and absolutely loved it.nnNarrara Backpackers is located in a lovely historic home on the outskirts of Hobart's CBD, and exudes a unique blend of warmth, friendliness and good vibes. Depending on how fast you walk, it's a 10 -15 minute stroll from the city centre and popular attractions such as Salamanca Markets and Battery Point. In other words, it is close enough for convenience, but sufficiently far away to experience the laid-back lifestyle that locals love. Another plus for healthy food enthusiasts...the iconic Eumarra Wholefoods is just around the corner, only minutes away.nnMo, the manager was very friendly and kind, really going out of his way to ensure that we and all the other guests had a wonderful and comfy stay.nnAs is usual in most backpackers hostels, the rooms are small and simple - but spotlessly clean, with everything a visitor would need. I don't know what the dorms are like, but our twin room had cosy beds, bedside table, convenient wardrobe and an oil heater, which kept our room nice and warm. We were really happy with this.nnIt's a very friendly hostel and when we stayed, there was a great group of international travellers. The common room and kitchen were always buzzing with activity. If you're very social, you'll find it a great place to make friends with fellow travellers. At the same time, if you're shy or reserved, there is an upstairs common room which is perfect for quiet reading, etc.nnNarrara Backpackers is an ideal home-away-from-home for all types of travellers. While many guests seemed to be younger international travellers, there were also several older visitors, who appeared to be perfectly at home. I'd also highly recommend it for solo female travellers as it is very safe and secure.
