Salamanca Inn is a 4.5 star AAA rated all suite hotel located on the doorstep of the iconic Salamanca Place on the colourful waterfront of Hobart. For the price and location there aren’t many better. I stay here a couple of times a year and it’s always well staffed and friendly. This morning I checked in and the staff were hugely accommodating, opening the bar area early so I had a place to work quietly until my room was ready. The staff member who let me in( I missed her name) went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed despite the bar area not being open yet. Highly recommend especially given the generous room sizes!

Great location. Be sure to check out the irish pub down the block. Lots of great food and beer on tap. We enjoyed the enclosed pool and hot tub with our kids. Very refreshing after a hot day! Some shopping nearby, a great Wursthaus deli and a shaded park near the water good for picnicking.

Christmas lunch here was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. The Buffett was nice. Loved the dessert buffet. The meat was a little over cooked but the roasted cauliflower made up for it.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay. It was in the heart of the CBD and so many options to eat near by. The shopping mall so close. Such friendly staff and the rooms its self were really clean and lovely. Worth the price.

Although the restaurant is relatively small, the ambience is lovely. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The food is also very good and I have never had a bad meal the 4 times I have visited.
