Nice pub. Friendly atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Really good meals at great prices. Have really noticed a difference over the last couple of years and it's improved from a pretty good place to a must do again.

Okay place. There are nicer ones in town and within walking distance. Beer is good, food not so much. Staff is friendly, everything is clean.

Stayed in their "suite" which was very large and had a balcony (climb through a window to get to it) but we have never stayed somewhere this bad! Everything was dirty and falling apart - at least 30 years since last update. Worst thing was the foul abusive yelling and talking from "patrons" just below the windows. For a family travelling through Tassie on holiday, we needed sleep but even hours after the pub closed, we had no hope. Had to yell out the window in frustration to finally get to sleep around 2am (great for a four year old).

Very basic but cool because of this. Good location but old style pub so not trendy but good for what it is.
