Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse is a multi award-winning boutique hostel in the heart of Hobart's historic village of Battery Point.

Montacute offers a range of private and shared rooms, including:

Private 2-bed bunkrooms
Shared bunkrooms
Female-only bunkrooms

All beds at Montacute have a quality inner spring mattress, crisp cotton sheets, warm duvet/doona, soft woollen blanket, fluffy towel, reading lamp, powerpoint and free wifi.

Montacute also has spacious communal areas, including a large kitchen, dining room with table for 20, lounge with open fire, balconies with mountain views, BBQ deck and garden with picnic tables.

Montacute is Montagreat! Its location is right in the heart of Battery Point and quite peaceful. The space is well maintained and the host Antony is quick-tongued and very accommodating. Cheers for the welcome and an impressionable attitude, all the basics one needs to know is explained in an instant and never felt more welcome. Would highly consider returning back here for my next trip down to Tassie.

Had a nice comfortable one week stay at Montacute in April. It is located in a lovely neighborhood in Battery Point, close to many cafes, restaurants and Salamanca Market.nnRooms, bathrooms and the kitchen were clean, with good laundry provision and nice chill-out spots in the garden and balcony. Antony and the guests I met were all very nice, genuine and friendly people. Lily and Tuxi are the most adorable doggos and always welcome you to join them in the garden! Highly recommend.
