A Hidden Italian Gem!nThis Italian restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a genuinely friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The highlight of the menu is definitely the Porchetta – tender, flavorful, and a must-try dish that captures the essence of authentic Italian cooking. They have vast selection of artisanal cheeses and charcuteries. Highly recommended!
We had lunch at That’s Amore Cheese in Thomastown and really enjoyed the experience. While it’s on the pricier side, the quality of the produce makes it worth it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and left us feeling satisfied without that heavy, overfull feeling.nWe tried the Pausini roll, Baggio roll, and a Caprese salad – all delicious and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The bread was fresh, the cheese was next-level, and the salad was light yet flavorful.nThere’s a great selection of goods to browse and buy – from their signature cheeses to deli hams and even some lovely giftware. It’s a great spot to pick up gourmet items or a unique foodie gift.nThere are also toilets onsite, which is always a plus when you’re planning to sit down for a bite.
Cheese platter was a disappointment, it had burrata, mini burrata, moz and a another cheese didn’t know the name of it, staff should have ideally explained. Portion size was too small. And we had spaghetti and porchetta. Taste was good but very expensive.nOn top of this an additional 10% weekend surcharge, come on.
Amazing news for Coeliac gluten free sufferers. That's Amore Cheese cafe offers a separate entire gluten free menu. I can't go past the mortadella, pesto and burrata toasted roll. I asked for a smaller burrata in my roll. It usually includes a huge one. It's a bit of a heart stopper but absolutely delicious. It's a really nice atmosphere and on a sunny day you can eat in the protected outdoor area. The staff are attentive and friendly. Overall extremely enjoyable.
Maybe it's my fault for being so excited to try it, or maybe my taste buds were too affected by my coffee but all the cheeses I tried were absolutely lacklustre and flavourless.nnArancini balls were really nice, and I'm sure there's some golden takeaway items but I can't recommend it at the price for a sit down meal. Plus it didn't help they were doing all the vacuuming in the middle of eating, hours before closing. Probably a treasure for locals working in the area but not worth the detour.
