I came to bestfriends for the first time looking for goods for my new kitten. There was a lady present during Sunday evening 22nd Jan who guided me nicely to what I was looking for until it was 5pm and my card in the phone wallet at the till did not work and I had to go speak to my husband since it was his phone, I told her to wait and give me a few seconds to which she said it's time to close, the guy at the cashier was nice and was co-operating, I said one second to her and she sighed and said okay and slammed the door behind me. I have worked in customer service for 10 years and never have I ever made a customer feel uncomfortable and uneasy before they left. I understand it was 6 mins past 5 i made sure i checked the time and I constantly apologised for that mind you I was desperate to find good stuff for my kitten and I couldn't wait another day she wasnt eating well All I will say is please focus on customer service too as you do to your store, your store is great with all the amenities needed but you have lost a customer who was planning to.come in for the vet and arrange a monthly supply of goodies for their kitten. People do want to go home as soon as the clock hits 5 but sometimes you need to be a little understanding towards others and their situation. Thank You!!

We love visiting Best Friends Thomastown for the pet store, vet and grooming! All staff members are always extremely helpful and happy, especially Eleanor who is always up for a cuddle with our two puppies Gypsy and Tango! She spends a little extra time and effort when providing advice, suggestions or helping us with our million questions. Even before we picked up our puppies, the staff helped us pick out everything we needed to be dog parents and were very patient with us The incredible staff at the vet have always super energetic and full of great knowledge, they know our dogs so well and know that they need a little extra care when they come in. Our puppies are always treated so well, as are we! It's always such a delight when we need pet supplies. Thank you so much to the staff of Best Friends Thomastown! You guys are the best!

Best friends are friendly place not only for the pets but for the owner of the pets too. Every things have been organised n displayed well. I always have great experience n love to visit them all the time as my pet Venus loves the place.

We have been taking our Samoyed puppy, Eva, to Best Friends for puppy school. The classes run for 5 sessions, we're currently 3 sessions in and only have nice things to say. The puppy school space is small but this makes for nice and intimate sessions and allows puppies to socialise well. Trainer is fantastic, patient and always happy to answer questions. They check puppy vaccinations before classes begin which is very reassuring and even called before the first class to check in. Staff are very helpful and energetic. Highly recommended for puppy training and food, treat and toy advice.

We did a huge mistake to send my dog to this Thomastown shop. They kept him four hours , I don’t know what happen in those 4 hours,when I went to pick him up , my dog was dying for water. Seriously, if you can not deliver the service in time, just be honest, I don’t mind sending in my dog 2 hours later. Never again to this Thomastown shop. They are there for money only.

Every single staff member I have spoken to has been ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!! Having a new puppy has been made easier with their helpful advice, and the availability of a Vet, grooming and pet products all in one place
