I normally shop at their Preston store sadly had to use the South Morang store 2 weeks ago. Saxon Smith and his female work colleague would have to be the rudest customer service staff I have ever met. After asking him to price match a product he replied ‘with what’ shocked I said ‘sorry’ he replied ‘with what’ flustered I replied ‘I’m not sure your Preston store look up and match if your ask them to, to which he replied ‘probably because they are sick of arguing with customer like you’ I replied ‘excuse me, tone it down yeah’ I’ve never argued with the staff at Preston’  to which he lent back on the counter and scratched his crutch. So now mortified I asked to see the rules and regulations he now starting throwing at me to save himself. He then  said ‘ I’ll get the manager’  I replied ‘good idea’ unable to find the manger a female staff member approached and asked ‘what is the problem’ trying to explain to her what Saxon had just said while she stood their with a look of complete annoyance towards me and my speech difficulty I decided to leave the products and the store. I sent Best friends an email to zero response. 7 days later another email asking for the respect of a response to zero reply again. Preston staff knew who Saxon was before I even had the chance to mention his name. Seems he has quite a reputation. Suffice to say I won’t be buying a thing from Best friends again or the company the have just been bought out by which I think is Pet stock.

Rang the store ... spoke to Chloe.  Picked up some Kitty Litter.  She was fabulous  ... very friendly & had the Litter ready when l came to the store  .... she even bought it out to the car for me!!

How after over 7 years have I not given a Review! I've been taking my Bernese Mountain Dog here for grooming monthly for over 7 years now! Jess does an amazing & wonderful job and whilst washing him she had noticed something wrong with his eye last year. Humphrey went in for surgery it was cancerous! But all was well, caught in time, thanks to Jess. Forever grateful. We have a great relationship with all of the staff including Rachel & Mon... they really are like Family. xx

I'm not generally a fan of the big barn petshops, but I received excellent service today. Trying to find a specific cleanup spray, and in the end, thanks to a very helpful man, I got it. Thank you.

Thankyou for being so lovely, welcoming and caring and providing a wonderful groom. Dolly is much more comfortable now, full of energy and looks and feels beautiful. Thanks for the quick trim around Penny's eyes too. She can see again! :

Great shop. Good range of dog foods. Vet on site, haven't used them yet and they are very friendly when talking to them. The best part for me thus far is the grooming department. My dog really hates water, they handled her great, got her bathed and she smells great. Trimmed her nails really nice too. Thanks to the staff here!

Absolutely love the groomers here. They’re absolutely lovely and treat my two babies as if they’re their own. Wouldn’t trust anyone else

Saxon was so helpful with advice and recommendations to help control our rescue dog pulling. Suggested bringing her in for a fitting of a harness which we did - problem solved! He has a natural apathy with animals, can’t speak highly enough of our experience at this place.

I had no problem in having my fish tank replaced . Problem was resolved with a warm welcome . Excellent customer service

We brought our fish tank and gold here. Staff were super helpful and patient with us. The team member Cam was super knowledgeable and helpful. We love our new tank and fishy friends.
