One of our fish sadly died due to high ammonia levels, and we felt completely lost. But then we visited Petbarn in Thomastown and met Linda—what a game changer!nnLinda was an absolute expert and provided incredible advice that turned everything around for us. Within a week of following her guidance, our water quality improved dramatically, and our remaining fish are thriving. She took the time to explain the water cycle and gave us practical tips that worked like magic.nnHer knowledge and passion for fish care truly saved our tank, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Linda! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!
I went into Petbarn Thomastown today 23/10 for some advice on kitten and puppy foods before I jump into bringing my new family home, the girls were so helpful in recommending the right foods along with worming treatments and costs involved. The girls who assisted me were bubbly and happy which is a great indicator of job enjoyment. Thanks Kim and Jess , I’ll definitely be back .
Attended Puppy class in thomastown with Nichole. Really good for first time dog/puppy owners, make sure you get in early as they run out of spots quickly. Really helped us with socialising our pup and ensuring she has a good and fun start to her training.nAlways feel welcomed by the friendly staff when shopping. Current Staff are helpful.
We normally shop here amongst other pet barns nearby but will not be returning here again despite the good prices. The young assistant working with the small fish Saturday afternoon 19/10/24 was terrible. She refused to sell my wife 2 small fish for our son's birthday as she assessed they would not be suitable and their emotional wellbeing would be compromised! This was based of verbal information received about the size of our fishtank which is adequate. My wife has had hundreds of fish in various tanks for over 25 years, I don't think the sales assistant was even 21. What made it worse she threw items around such as nets. She was obviously frustrated or something. What the sales assistant also did not know my wife is a qualified VET! The moral of the story? .... well there is a few here. She can work it out while we go shop at another competitor franchise and work out the emotional wellbeing thing.
Great service, happy to help attitude from the staff.nGood advice and saved me $$ on flea, tick and worms treatments, so the boy got a few extra treats..
