Booked in for the car seat installation service. There is nothing included in the booking email nor any store signage to indicate or inform customers that the installations are currently being completed at their back warehouse behind McDonald’s. Poor communication. When we knocked on the front door for assistance we were greeted by an annoyed team member who looked like she was fed up with “stupid customers” knocking on the front door - when this all could have easily been avoided by providing customers with alternative address notes or signage during their renovations. The actual carseat installation and service provided by the young male attendant was amazing and we can highly recommend that!
My husband made a booking for car seat installation whilst the store was temporarily closed two weeks ago. Website noted car seat installation service was still available. Got there to what seemed like an abandoned store, there was no sign on the door to advise customers instructions, all doors locked. I Knocked get someones attention inside who could not manage to open the door , i then called several times, no answer, so i left in frustration. It would have been really helpful to have a number to call for assistance. Really disappointed as he had taken the day off work to get this done.
Booked a car seat installation through the website and came there on time. The store was closed down and looked as if it's essentially abandoned. In place where you would usually have the tent for people doing car seat installations, there was a lonely forklift. Sad.
I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for over two years, always choosing it over other options because of the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. However, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and disheartened.nnI came in to return a $500 item that I no longer needed. The product was unused, but the box had some damage top flaps half ripped no damage such as wounds to the box at all. Just the closing parts have been ripped due to me struggling to lift it and put it in my car. NEVER dropped everything perfectly intact except the box.nI had called twice beforehand, explaining the condition of the item and asking for reassurance that the return would be smooth—especially because I’m just two weeks postpartum and juggling the demands of a toddler. I needed to know the trip would be worthwhile, as every outing requires careful planning right now.nnDespite this, the return was instantly denied without compassion or understanding. There was no courtesy, no willingness to assess the situation or consider the context—just a cold refusal. I was shocked at how quickly I went from being a valued regular to feeling completely dismissed.nnI called customer service and they said returns are always valid and unless it’s an online purchase then it is NOT. they customer service lady explained that they give managers the free will to deny or accept a refend or exchange. What a joke.nnAnother issue I swept away due to being a fan of this place was the car seat installation service. It was equally disappointing. The female staff member conducting the install was completely disengaged—unfriendly, inflexible, and robotic. She offered no explanations, showed no warmth, and treated the service like a checkbox task rather than something meant to help new parents feel secure and supported.nnOverall, these experiences highlight the lack of empathy. Truly disheartening. Do better
I had a two-seat installation booked today but was unfortunately around 10 minutes late. Despite this, I wasn’t offered any support or flexibility — not even the option to have one seat installed.nnI’m currently almost 35 weeks pregnant and was disappointed that the next available booking offered to me was over a week away, on the 16th.nnI arrived at 11:10 and noticed no one was outside. It took about five minutes to park, get my toddler ready, and head into the store. I checked in and even paid at the counter. The staff member mentioned I was “a bit late,” to which I apologized and said I was happy to wait if needed.nnBy around 11:20, the next customer booked for 11:40 arrived and was seen immediately. I was still standing there without any solution offered.nnAs someone heavily pregnant and managing a toddler, I expected a little more understanding and flexibility. I left very disappointed with the service today.
