Never stayed in the hotel but have dined in the Bistro a few times and have always had a lovely meal. I like the surf n turf really tasty prawn sauce on the steak. Meals are good sizes and well priced, on certain days of the week they have 2 for 1 which makes for a really cheap midweek meal! If you’re local definitely give it go. The wedges with cheese and bacon are also really yumny

Good costumer service - room are very tidy -no lifts to rooms only stairs . Good variety of wholesome food . Easy to get to from train service .

Very clean, spacious and smells lovely will most diffo go there again. If you are a smoker don't go down the back stairs cause they tried to mug my son-inlaw...but I don't smoke and I'd still go there

don't get the meat platter its terrible. steak was 5mm thick.  never again ! Use to be a great pub ...
