Story

The Millers Inn was established in Altona North over 30 years ago and is now a local institution.

We have had a long time to perfect the art of being a great pub! You can even watch the 'big screen action' in our beer garden.

With our family friendly bistro serving lunch and dinner seven days a week, come in and try, (what we believe) to be the best bistro food in the western suburbs.

You won't go home hungry!

Our Public bar offers a friendly environment where you can come in, have a beer, meet some great people, have a great meal, kick back and watch some great sport.



"The pub is the heart of the community, and the people of Altona North call Millers Inn their local. It's a place for friends to meet, families to relax and everyone to enjoy themselves. If it’s pub classics you’re after, we’ve got that sorted. Our chef’s pulled together a selection of pub meals you’ll love, from great quality steaks to fish and chips, and vegetarian options in between. Lovely hotel and ideal location. Well presented, clean and secure accommodation, modern amenities and everything you would need from a hotel room amenities. Sound proofing to external noise bar and road noise was excellent. Have provided feedback to the hotel, the only downside was a banging noise all night in the roof of my room. Unable to be moved as the hotel was fully booked understandable
Moved around the corner 6 months ago and finally ventured in for a Sunday night meal. Very pleasantly surprised by the decor, menu and service. Nice menu and the battered fish and chips were crisp and tasty with a nice little salad and tartare sauce. Good value drinks too!
Food was as good as to be expected from a pub run by ALH. The QR code ordering system is lackluster at best, misses half your order. Was lucky to get a good service person who helped us out with a proper old school menu. Many thanks to Vicki, please take this as compliment, for an old duck you run rings around your younger staff members who seemed more interested in chatting amongst them selves than actually serving the patrons.
Well over priced for what you receive, quality of food well below average, meal portion was tiny super tiny, chicken lack of it was so far over cooked, dry and tough as leather. Really small bowl of salad which was a joke Drinks are fair pricedand good selection. However I left hungry I'm 60kg, disappointed and for close to $60 for tiny meal and two beers, I won't be back
We were very pleasantly surprised to find such a high quality restaurant open in the holiday period. Most other places were closed but Millers Inn was open and delivering 5 star meals! Great value for money.
It was a last minute discussion to stay in Melbourne and I arrived 11:00pm. Staff were great and whole process was easy. Room was clean and modern. Very pleasedRooms: 4/5
My mum and dad stay at the millers in every time they come and visit us and absolutely love it. They stayed there the weekend just gone and couldn’t thank the staff enough! Shout out to Jim and “the lady behind the bar” who helped her get back to her room. It’s nice to know they care about the people who visit.
Nice clean place. Good for the weary traveller's and locals looking for time out. Has loads of shopping all around food, clothes pokies full shopping centre close by. Has wheelchair acces and good parking. Overall nice place
Unfortunately no seniors discount anymore, disappointing . Meal was overpriced and salad dressing was overdone. I will go elsewhere from here on , seniors discount a must.
Excellent service by staff. Perfect location near city. Food was delicious
