We've hired vehicles a couple times now and found them to always be in new condition, very clean and easy to use. The team are always very friendly and willing to help. The cost is fare for the day rate. I'll be back again and recommend them to anyone.
We got a Scully RSV truck 3 Pallet about a month ago, and couldn't be happier. The Hino 300 is a breeze to drive, and the build of the custom refrigerated body is top quality. Brendan in the Sydney office has been very patient in answering all my newbie questions first time trucker! and been an outstanding support in helping us get the most out of our truck. So thank you Scully RSV! I highly recommend Scully RSV to anyone who needs a top quality refrigerated truck.
On behalf of the Harrisville Lions Club I would like to extend our appreciation for your support with hiring one of your freezer trucks in early May when we fundraised by on-selling ice at the local Earth Frequency Festival over a four day period. While the weather was particularly wet during the event all the festival goers seemed to have a great timer as did we. Much needed funds were raised as a result which will be directed to both local causes and Lions Clubs Australia causes.
We received a refrigerated Toyota ute $59k around a month ago, although the initial payment was delivered on the 17/2 it took around 3 months 17 May to receive the vehicle, with updates only advised on when the sales person was chased. When we were finally advised the "quality checks" had been completed, we could pick the ute up from Toyota Brendale. When I inspected the vehicle the following faults were obvious - the 2 bungs had been siliconed in and could not been removed, the light in the fridge housing was not operating and the clip which secured the door did not align properly. The Toyota sales person made it clear that this was a "scully" problem and really provided no further assistance except his defensive sales talk, and Scully, although finally flagging they would fix the problem expected us to drive it back out to the factory...more money spent by us on loss of production, taxi fares and wages. Stay clear of these 2 companies and their shoddy unprofessional workmanship, record all communication if you deal with them, in writing.
We have dealt with Scully's for a number of years now and have found them excellent to deal with. Bree is our main contact and has always been a pleasure to deal with! Switched on, friendly and gets the job done….certainly makes life easier! Highly recommended!
Last year in Dec when someone who I held dear to my heart a mother figure passed away suddenly, we needed a refrigerator truck ASAP for our cultural funeral arrangements. But it was near Christmas time and many companies had hired out all their trucks. I almost gave up before I came across Scullys website on google. When I called Scully RSV I spoke with main contact David who not only empathised with my situation, told us they were all hired out but adv will do his best to help us out. Within 30 mins to an hour David called with an available truck- told us she was a bit beaten up outside but worked perfectly, sorted out a quote and was ready for pick up the next day. Not only did we arrive the next day to pick up with everything sorted but David had provided a brand new refrigerator truck to take for hire. David and Scullys generosity towards my family during this hard time will never be forgotten. Even to this day we drive past this company and often thank God for David and his kindness as well as sense of urgency!! Will definitely use services again and recommend to those who need a refrigerator truck! Thank you DAVID & SCULLY TEAM!
We were initially experiencing delays with our truck purchase/build, due to the supply issues created by COVID. When Obi was assigned as our new account manger the communication improved significantly as he followed up promptly and kept us updated during each step through the process. Thanks Obi
I am the service manager for allied pinnacle Brisbane and have had all my truck repairs done through scully at Archerfield . The service and contact was great, Obi from sales was good to deal with as was Jamie in the hire department as they both go the extra mile thanks Peter Mein
I purchased a 14 pallet, forklift rated freezer body in 2019. Earlier last year, a crack appeared in the floor of the freezer body. I spoke to the Scully team previous management and they repaired the floor as it was under warranty at the time. Having used a forklift on the floor of the truck, the surface has become uneven and unsafe for further use because the entire floor was not fully repaired. I have since spoken to the Cameron general manager who has said that they will not repair the floor because the warranty has expired. I should not have to pay for a broken floor that was not properly repaired in the first place. If the floor is not forklift rated, it should not be advertised as such. This problem is not something that would otherwise occur in a forklift rated freezer body having owned several trucks from early 2000.
Great customer service from Aron, kylie and Brendon. Well done. Easy to deal with. Looking forward dealing with them again. Most important aspect is their trucks. They are well looked after and taken care of from the fridge to the mechanical side of the truck.
