Sorry for the long-winded full story, but I was in quite a predicament last Thursday afternoon with my car breaking down around 3:00PM just before the Australia Day long weekend.
After getting my car towed to the mechanic's garage, I then tried to arrange for a hire car.  At first I tried to ring the Red Spot's (Enterprise Rent a Car) Brisbane city office with no answer. I had a previous very good experience with them. So I, albeit reluctantly, rang the local Hertz which diverted to their booking office queue in Melbourne who advised that their local office closes in ten minutes, 5:00PM and that they were closed on Friday (holiday). I tried to see what options might be available for me, maybe at the airport to which, in mid word, the line dropped out (i.e. hey hung up on me). They had my mobile number already so I thought maybe they might ring me back - Wrong!! Not happy at all with Hertz Melbourne, I rang Red Spot's airport office who advised me that the lady in city office couldn't be very far away from their city office and to please try ringing them again and if any problems to ring the airport office back. I rang Brisbane city office when I was very promptly answered and I spoke with a nice young lady, Tamara, who apologised for missing my earlier call as she had stepped out of the office only for a few moments to move a car. 
In speaking with Tamara, I arranged for my hire car but as I probably couldn't get to her office until after their closing time 6:00PM. She advised that would not be a problem at all and she agreed to wait as long as necessary for my arrival which luckily occurred around 6:10PM 
 
In providing the most professional and efficient customer service that I have not seen for a long time, I would like to give Red Spot/Enterprise Rent a Car the highest accolades possible with my greatest appreciation to Tamara which I certainly hope her employers recognise accordingly.
Five stars are very well deserved.

We walked into the airport during the employee shift change so we had to wait about an hour to pick up the car, but the drop off was easy and quick.
