After been a long time customer of the restaurant, the recent experience shocked me and made me never want to go back again! My cousin is visiting from overseas and wanting to make a special dinner with my cousin in-law for the Valentine's Day, I therefore recommended Rosetta highly and made the booking accordingly. The booking was for 9PM, I went there at around 6:45PM, and handed a bunch of 10 roses with greens to the staffs, I clearly instructed that the booking is for my cousin and my cousin in-law, who doesn't speak much English and if they can bring the roses out when they arrive at 9PM or alternatively when they are serving desserts, if any issues they can call me on my mobile, they confirmed my instructions and took the roses to the back. However, unfortunately the roses has hence disappeared, namely never handed to my cousin and cousin in-law, when they made order, they also missed out on the wine. It was just a clear sub-par service, shocking and unbelievable that a restaurant I highly uphold for its service has now gone to the other extreme. No phone calls whatsoever either, I made a formal complaint after the incident, and has not received any responses to date, clearly the management has lost their mind and so is their customers! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Also, it was not even that busy when my cousin arrived the restaurant. In the aftermath, the manager called and tried to make it up with new flowers to be delivered, but failed to honoured the agreement, and when I followed it up again, there was absolutely no reply whatsoever from thereon.

Really good food but with good serving sizes, although a bit pricey which is typical for a fine dining restaurant. We had a variety of shared dishes, all were delicious, and a main dish each. Quite a number of seafood based dishes too! For dessert, the lemon pudding is a must try even if you're not big on lemon based desserts. The only downside of this place is that it's in Crown. I hate Crown.

Surprised by the quality of excellent food. Perhaps service could be improved particularly on the wine service, not like what I expected in a fine dining. On a different note, you don’t get that service of a true hospitality as they don’t get to know a person. Instead you are just another guest coming in to have a meal, not to dine. Perhaps if you get to know your customers then you can get a better understanding of who comes into your restaurant. But that what happens after being to long in the day to day operation, you lack of the small details of a fine dining and then you become just another good restaurant.

A warm evening on Melbourne and every outdoor seating place on Southbank seemed to be full, we walked into Rosetta and got lucky with a seat for two outside. The tables are well spaced apart and the service was great. We got a couple of Rib Eye steaks which was definitely some of the most expensive steak I've had at $90 for 280g. When it arrived It came with a selection of three sauces. The steak had a lot of flavour and was perfectly cooked but was probably not work $90. For sides we had the baby carrots and crispy potatoes which were definitely different than we expected, the potatoes came in large layered blocks, more than enough for two people. For desert we had the tiramisu. A really nice place to go in summer and ideal to take the partner on special occasions.

The stars are for the pretty decor. Other than that it was mediocre. Unnecessarily overpriced. I was confused why the staff were so pretentious. Other restaurants on that strip have been such a pleasure. Won't go back there.
