TGI Fridays Southbank Melbourne. Quiet location slightly back from busy thoroughfare. Service friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Good range of menu options.

Really impressed. When my partner and i arrived there was only one waiter on and wow did he do a great job! So prompt, friendly and apologetic without needing to be! Food was great (aside from our dishes not coming out at the same time) my drink was to die for! And prices were great too. We'll be back for sure!

Just got back from TGI Friday at Southbank .. despite the food being alright, the service let the experience down. We waiting 40 minutes for our meals, 3 of these being children’s hotdogs !!! Things got worse when one meal didn’t even turn up. After asking 2 different people the meal finally came 15 minutes later. The waitress didn’t really bat an eyelid when we asked for a takeaway container since it took so long and we had to go home because children need to go to bed. No apology for the wait and no apology for messing up and bringing out the food late - so I make no apology for rating my experience so low.

Just got back from dinner at TGIF Southbank - won't be going back! The last two visits, the service has been simply woeful. The previous time, we ordered a bottle of wine and it took forever to arrive, and even then only after several chase ups. This time, we ordered a drink on arrival (beer and wine, so nothing onerous). Waited half an hour. Staff showed no awareness or made zero eye contact with customers. I had to almost tackle a waitress to ask her to follow up on the drink. Foolishly, I ordered a second beer half through dinner, hoping it might arrive in time to drink with my meal. Again, I had to ask two different staff to follow it up. It arrived long after my meal was finished. Just not good enough. This is twice now the service has been unacceptable. Staff appear to have little to no training. Plenty of other places close by to take my business.

Myself and 3 friends were there 6 weeks ago and food was fantastic so we decided to go back tonight not impressed ribs were dry chips were over cooked, they mucked up one of the orders, I ordered scotch steak which also was over done and dry. When we went to pay they didn't want to split the bill because they were busy. NOT HAPPY
