Food quite well done. Service was amazingly slow for a well staffed restaurant. Generally found the waiters too preoccupied with slow careful movements and etiquette than actually getting things done. Overall I had heard good reviews but on the time I was there grabbing steak and various sides with work colleagues. Found it fairly lacklustre to be honest. Level of service let it down hard. I found myself always looking for waiters. Example when they left the Desert menu. I would think we waited about 15mins before they returned to ask if we wanted anything.

Having recently visited again since moving out of the area, my experience was as good as previous ones.  May be just lucky that we all ordered the right dishes this time.  Prices are not the cheapest but the deco and quality of food are high.  And in comparison to Hong Kong's 4/5 stars this place is by far good value for money.  Highly recommended for business gatherings also.

Still on par with my previous 5 stars review a few months ago. This time we had guests from Vietnam who are in the wine business. Wonderful warm welcome! Everyone there is always friendly and discreet. Every single dish a work of art: a feast for the eyes as well as for the taste buds! Thank you to all.

Fantastic service and they opened up a 6 seater for us last minute. The atmosphere and decor was brilliant. The best I've seen in a while. The wine options and scotch were fantastic and not too over priced. As many can relate, the mains were lacking quality. Considering the beef focus, the rib eye was poorly cooked with 3 out 6 cooked as asked. Mine was medium when I asked for medium/rare. The sides were poorly thought out. Surely you can be more creative than this head chef? The entrée, and desserts were fantastic! Is a pastry chef the new head chef? As for price, we spent just over $1000 for 6, so not too bad if they got the mains right. I might try again when down in Melbourne again for work.

I had a great steak here. The service was a little off and the furnishings were very dusty- it felt dirty- like it needed a good wipe down. It is very pricey, so good to show off by bringing someone here. Was it the best steak I've ever had? Far from it actually. A rib eye that lacked that buttery, softeness I love in a perfect steak... but it was a great steak- tasty, lots of sauces, large, char-grill flavour. I think Vlados or even the Peacock Hotel do a better steak.
