Story

We search Tasmania, King Island & Flinders Island for the best produce from their farmers, fishermen and artisan producers; people we call our friends. It then gets delivered direct from the source to our kitchen.

We visit the Pure South islands regularly for inspiration and Chef David Hall's menu reflects this.

If you're looking for something more casual for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between then P.S. Bar + Kitchen is open weekdays from 7am and Weekends and Public Holidays from 8am

My new found love along the Southbank riverside. The “window seat” is a perfect spot for people watching while enjoying a good breakfast. Their take on the avocado & toast was on point. I also love that they make their own fresh juices! Service has been consistent and I’m starting to be a regular - I’m looking forward to try their dinner one night - menu sounds inviting.

Pure South is a fantastic restaurant. Reasonably priced for the high quality of food. The location is great, it is just around from the Arts Centre for those attending the theatre. Would definitely recommend.

We had the most fabulous experience at Pure South Dining! The food was just glorious - I went there with my wife, and between us we tried 6 different dishes and each was as amazing as the last. The wine list was extensive and impressive and the service was impeccable. Its been a long time since we have had such a high standard of professional customer service - we really did feel like a very welcome guest. And last but not least - the views were OUTSTANDING! An incredible evening - not to missed!

VERY UPMARKET RESTAURANT WITH INTERNATIONAL CUISINE Delightful service, great menu, long wine list. Not particularly noisy. We went as a work group of about ten people and there was no difficulty managing our individual orders. Not a good place to take kids as its quite high end. Its located in the Southbank precinct so there is lots to do before or after your meal. Being a modern building complex there is easy access for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues
