I can only compare this to Crown's Conservatory. In my opinion, Melba's food is much better. A better variety and more live chefs lead to a better dining experience. Despite Melba's outdated appearance (Conservatory looks much nicer), staff and service were top notch. If I had one piece of advice, it would be to put a ramp in there somewhere. The staff had to physically lift elderly people in wheelchairs down the set of 3 or 4 stairs about 10 times 😂

Buffet lunch is incredible! The view overlooking the river really sets the scene. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Really get your money worth.

Excellent buffet style lunch. Freshest seafood, many many choices of food to choose from such as Peking Duck, roasts, chicken, pork, lamb, and beef. Indian food, Asian stir fries, variety of salads, sushi, cold meas, cheese biscuits and bread. A delightful array of deserts. All this with attentive staff and overlooks the Yarra River at Southbank. A must for all overseas guests and local visitors.

We came In as a group. We had a large table service was fantastic. Even walking in to the restaurant, the hotel has a beautiful lobby. It's almost like being in the Bellagio or Venetian in Las Vegas. The election of seafood is amazing. Fresh sashimi, deserts , cheeses and fresh pasta in the spot. The view from the sitting area of the city is breath taking. I came here 3 years ago and we didn't get In so.please make a reservation.

The manager Danny is professional and a great asset to this organisation!! There is a staff member there named Nisz She is a Filipino background girl. You would find her at the area they make the fresh pasta or stir fry. She has exceptional customer service!!!!! She remembers my daughters name and puts a smile on my families face!! MANAGEMENT OF THE MELBA SHOULD TREASURE HER!!!
