Great coffee spot for throughout the day with very friendly staff. Coffee is typical Melbourne quality coffee and price. Food is like all of Southbank, good, but a little bit pricey, however not outlandish. For example pizzas are about $20 but they're solid and likely worth the price difference. Additionally their selection of beers and beverages are diverse enough for most people's tastes. Overall you can't really go wrong here, yet there's nothing that particularly makes it stand out from the crowd, however this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Avoid, very poor value, you are paying for the location. They are not prepared to substitute cauliflower puree instead of potato despite serving cauliflower puree with other dishes. And I was told that the cauliflower puree contains potato anyway by our waiter but that "would make the menu too long to mention". ....Clearly not a customer focused business. The pic shows my steak with salad (which they were prepared to substitute for potato) which cost $39.. the meat quality does not justify that price. My wife decided it wasn't worth ordering a main having seen mine.... Edit.. we explained our dissatisfaction to another member of staff with the steak and it was comp'd back. For this I will raise my rating to 3*

A very reliable place for decent food with a good location. The serving sizes aren't big for the price but the food quality is pretty good. The staff could be more attentive and you seem to have to work to catch their eye. They also have a good selection of beers.

Looking forward to birthday dinner we were a group of over ten people so to stop bill splitting we paid at the bar. All good I was looking forward to the sea food platter for two. All paid for waiting with anticipation. Only to have a young man come and tell us like a Fawlty Towers episode. Sea food platter is off the menu tonight. So had to be satisfied with fish and chips. Empty plates were not moved for a long long time so I played waitress and had to move them to another table. Feeling disappointed
