The raspberry cheesecake is a wonderful thing. I come here just for that. Tea is served in elegant pots and the cups are fine.

A lovely meal of sweet potato and mayonnaise, it was very nice. The atmosphere is good and the waiter was delightful to talk to. Only qualm was the water, it tasted quite bad, probably a mistake caused by dishwasher powder.

I have been coming to Cafe Vic for years. It's our usual pre-ballet ritual. Of late I have been really disappointed with the service. Even when staff answers the phone to take a booking: their non enthusiasm is off pudding. Lack lustre, unhelpful, staff looked stressed and most non service orientated. I went to the counter to place an additional order for a piece of cake was told it's table service only. So I had to go back to my table and Took ages and ages to get someone's attention just for a piece of cake when they could have take the order at the counter. The soup arrived with NO bread roll, asked if soup comes with bread roll? I don't know was the reply. I will go and ask he said. But never returned with the answer. Common guys how difficult is it to get good service?
