I’ll start with the “bad” no tissues in the room. That’s literally it. Absolute banger of a place.nnThe staff were so awesome particularly Luke the room was clean and comfortable, this isn’t a luxury hotel but it’s very comfortable and useable for a couple. Lovely place, good location for Essendon, nice food close by and well priced.nnI will stay here again.

Great mid range accommodation in the hustle and bustle of Essendon.  Surrounded by cafes, bakeries, supermarket and even a medical centre a few doors down the street.  Tram stops are adjacent and a large carpark beside the apartments, courtesy of Coles supermarket.  Guest parking entry is at the back of the property.  There is a lift and easy access through all doorways.

I'll start with the positive - reception staff are incredible. The centralised booked service staff are appalling. They were rude and condescending and generally unhelpful.nnThe hotel:nPlease that smell in the lobby from the fragrance is so overpowering and offensive!nThe lights on the Coles side woke us up in the middle of the night, you need block out blinds there.nWe switched rooms and it smelt of paint lacquer or something.nMy shower went cold in the middle of washing my hair.nOne light in the kitchen was out and made it hard to see.nJust one bedside table lamp.nVery grotty curtains.nPlease get some couch cushions.nnAs I said, it was fine but expensive in my opinion for the level of comfort etc.

Staff were great,  extremely helpful.  Room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.  Plenty of places to eat nearby although I didn't try any of them.nnThe only draw back and the reason for 3 stars is the noise.  Mt Alexander road is relentless.  It is just so loud with traffic noise and car horn that is replaced by wannabe races at night and car horns.

The apartment we stayed in was cozy with a lovely setup. It was a bonus to have Coles supermarket nearby. However the lift/elevator did not work for most our stay and we had to use the stairs. Overall, a lovely place.
