Not too shabby if all you want is sleep and shuttle to the airport for a very early morning flight. Easy to book, complimentary airport shuttle, pool - if you've brought your swimmers - coffee and tea in the room. Our room was clean and tidy and inviting. The bathroom spacious and clean and tidy with the usual washing 'soaps'. We had a wake up call for the shuttle too. The mattress was like a board but I was exhausted so I crashed. The pillows comfortable too. I'd definitely consider this my go to hotel for any future early morning fights out of Melbourne. Well done folks.
If your on a tight timetable in and out of town this is great. The bar and restaurant is open good hours but don't expect to much. The shuttle is great to and from airport easy as. If your up for a session at the wave pool across the road it seems many people do this. Fly in surf walk across the road. We had a good night sleep woke up close to the airport and a free shuttle, exactly what we wanted.
Booking this hotel literally saved the day after my flight to Sydney got canceled and it was the last of the night. The room was very nice and the front desk members were beyond friendly and their service went above and beyond my expectations. They even had arranged a free shuttle for me to get back to the airport at 4:00am, and we took off on-time! I’m so grateful that I chose to stay here and for the impeccable hospitality of the front desk.
Fantastic service. Room very clean and tidy. Reliable shuttle bus to and from Airport. Wake up call spot on time. Bistro.. Coffee wasn't that great, didn't have English breakfast tea, but had English breakfast tea in the rooms. Bistro is operated by different people. Friendly shuttle bus drivers.Rooms: 4/5
It is a older style hotel but why fix what is not broken. We had a triple room and it was spotless and shower pressure was better than mine at home. The ladies at reception were friendly and very helpful and check in was quick and easy. Beds and pillows are comfy and the kids love the pool. Oh and dont forget the yummy food from the bistro. I would definitely come back if we have a early flight in the future and recommend it to everyone.
These people know there business and it shows. We, like many other have stayed here before. Great meals served well. Unfortunately the buffet is not yet reopen post COVID. Quiet, serviceable rooms, long term parking, airport transfers 24/7.Rooms: 3/5
Average and dated hotel. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. Cleanliness was ok but needs attention to detail, eg remote control was caked in crud. The chain lock on door was broken and staff could be friendlier and more welcoming
Every person I encountered while staying here was excellent. Starting with the incredible older gentleman who picked me up from the airport in the complimentary shuttle; he was so friendly and great to chat to - he really kicked off a great hospitality experience for me. The shuttle arrived in less than 15 minutes from when I called reception, I didn't even have to prearrange a pick-up time. The woman at the front desk was lovely and directed me to the restaurant for dinner and helped me arrange an early morning shuttle back to the airport and a wake-up call. I had dinner in the restaurant, a super creamy lobster bisque which really hit the spot and then off to bed in the super comfy rooms. Early morning check out was a breeze, and the overnight reception worker was somehow still so cheerful and friendly at 5am. Another easy transfer back to the airport - less than 10 minutes! - and my 10 hour stopover was complete. Thanks so much to the team for making what could have been a miserable 10 hours stuck in an airport into a very pleasurable experience. The room was ok the bed was way to soft same with the pillows didn't have a good night sleep for our big trip and big day ahead of us. Buffet breakfast was good Recommend that .Rooms: 3/5
The guy with the thick accent on the front reception was hostile and rude. The manifest hostility was so bad, I am reporting him to the police. His behaviour was very suspicious and people like this, taking advantage of our beautiful country and everything that it has to offer, have to be called out for their double standards. I checked in around 2:30 in the morning, very tired. The man was rude, arrogant and then literally threw the room key at me. I had no idea which way to go to find the room, etc. This is unacceptable, and I say, he has to be called out and held accountable by being on the radar of the authorities.
