I booked a day use room with King Bed while waiting for my midnight flight. The hotel was just a stone’s throw away from Melbourne airport and it was accessible to get to as there was a connecting bridge from the airport.nnThe room itself was clean and the bed was cozy. It had all amenities you need to relax and freshen up before a flight. I was able to use the gym and pool too.nnCheck in was quick and easy so I was glad to get in as soon as possible.nnWould recommend staying there if you’re looking for a quick relaxation before or after a flight.
My stay at the  Parkroyal Melbourne International Airport was a delight. My suite was impeccably clean, well appointed, quiet and comfortable, delivering luxury with a homey touch. The food and beverage offerings were diverse and delectable, the restaurant served one of the best Angus steak dishes I've ever had, with a bar that curated an exceptional experience with a large cocktail selection and fantastic views if the airport. The gym and swim was well-equipped with plenty of equipment. An ideal choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. I will stay again! 5 Stars
We stayed here before an early morning flight and expected a quiet night to rest. At around 10pm, a member of staff unlocked and tried to enter our room without knocking. They were only unsuccessful because we had the latch on.nnIt made it harder for us to sleep and caused distress to my wife. The knock on effect was a more difficult journey to the UK the next day, which was the reason we had booked the hotel in the first place.nnI reported the incident to reception in the morning. The staff member removed a beer from our bill but did not offer an apology or acknowledge the seriousness of what happened.nnI then contacted the hotel manager by email. He was apologetic, but no compensation or goodwill gesture was offered. Considering the lack of any meaningful gestures calls into question how seriously the hotel takes its duty of care to guests. For what it's worth, the person who checked us in was friendly and welcoming.
Loved the fact that the hotel was literally opposite the terminals. We had a 5.55am flight so it made perfect sense to stay here for a night. Note that if your car rental is off site mine was East Coast Car Rental, to drive into the hotel parking lots for drop off will require you using the call button to ask for help at the 2 gantries to get in. Not much of a bother, more of a thing to note.
We arrived and there was a computer outage do needed to provide proof of booking. The check in process took quite a bit of time to sort this i did have email confirmationnWe then went up to our room. We got a message on the tv screen after about 60 minutes that we hadn't checked in, so we needed to go back to reception to complete this. Thankfully, we were able to do this over the phone.nWe popped down to the restaurant just after 5pm for an early dinner - we were advised they only had the bar menu available until 6pm.nWe decided not to wait and to get room service instead.nOn contacting room service, we were advised that we could pay on delivery - this wasn't possible when the meal arrived with the computer outage cited as the reason.nThe meal was very nice although the butter chicken was only lukewarm.nI guess when you are paying a premium price you expect a premium service - we definitely didn't receive this and other than than ready access to the airport it wasn't good value for money.nGreat access to the airport via the skybridge - just took a few minutes to get there with easy access to both international and domestic terminals.
