Sylvania Hotel

Stayed here for 1 night as we were from 500km away and we're flying out next day. Room was quite small however it was very clean. Bathroom was a fair size with a shower in it. Great water pressure. Had all the essential items for a overnight stay there in the room ready for us. There was extra towels in the cupboard and a extra blanket there as well. Had a iron and ironing board there if needed. Had a mini bar fridge with milk in it. Had a small kettle, coffee tea and sugar along with the cups and spoons. Had nice pillows (2 for each person) plus a back/neck support pillow for each person. Had a tv as well. Ultimately had everything you needed to rock up and stay the night comfortably. Had parking right outside the door as well. The rooms are on the back of the hotel not facing any roads or noisy bussiness. Couldn't hear the pub area at all even though they were having poker night there the night we stayed so it was nice and quiet. Had great block out blinds as well so no chance of anyone seeing into the room at night and kept sun out well if you wanted a sleep in. Very happy with price at around $130 for 3 people.

This accommodation is not worthy of any star rating but wouldn't allow me to post my review with out rating a star........ Check-in is at the bar in the beating lounge. Average customer service. No meals available. My room wreaks of cigarette smoke, there are no security locks on the door & the lamp doesn't work. I was greeted by a mostly decayed frog in the toilet & fear I have not consumed enough alcohol, for Dutch courage, to brave showering. But the bed appears clean so won't inspect further so I'm not forced to sleep standing up. This is by far the worst accommodation I have ever seen.
