I do not recommend this hotel. There was a sewage smell coming from the sink, so my room smelt bad the whole time I was there.nThere were also ants on the sink. In general the room felt kind of dingy. Not exactly unclean, but just kinda icky.nThe traffic was very loud and even though the window was closed, it seemed to do very little in terms of noise insulation.nI could hear people in the rooms across the hall talking. Granted, I didn't hear anyone in the adjacent rooms.nThe general vibe just felt uncomfortable and even a little unsafe.nOne of the reception staff had a cold, unfriendly demeanour, that just made me feel even more uncomfortable. Luckily, one of the other staff on during morning / early daytime was more friendly which helped me feel safer.nThe breakfast was not worth it. Hardly anything there. Some toast, a few spreads that looked very used and unhygienic, 2 cereals, fruit and some drinks. Not worth the cost.nLaundry uses coins only. I only had card. They will only convert cash to coins which I didn't have so couldn't use the laundry there.nOverall the place felt kinda gross and unsafe. 2 stars because I guess it still could have been worse. Only stay here if you absolutely must, and ear plugs are required for a decent sleep!
Stayed for one night and it was totally fine. Clean sheets, hot shower and helpful staff. Both the front desk and Housekeepers. Nothing fancy, but exactly what I needed for the price. Good for quick stopovers.
Honestly a decent budget stay. The room was simple but tidy, and everything worked the way it should. Check-in was quick and the staff were polite, which made things easy after a long day. It’s close to shops and public transport, so getting around wasn’t a hassle at all. For the price, it’s a practical option, nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a short stay if you just need a clean, affordable place to sleep. Will definitely visit again.
The rooms are very small, and the toilet is even smaller. Because there was no space for a faucet in this cramped space, they installed it inside the room. My door was locked and I couldn't get out at night. I wanted to call reception to resolve the problem, but there was no reception phone number in the room. Even worse, they close reception after midnight, so even if there was a phone, you couldn't reach them. The rooms weren't clean enough, and I woke up bitten by insects. Absolutely awful and disgusting. It was a very bad experience for me and I will not choose it again. Also, they charge for parking even though you are a hotel guest.
Probably the worst Ibis hotel I have ever stayed. Room: Pros: the bed is comfy, the A/C is powerful and working: Cons: the window couldn't close, the A/C needs to adjust the room temperature constantly. Over 4 nights not once the housekeeper put her foot in my room. No elevator. Lots of Muslim guests with kids, nonstop noise - crying, yelling etc. not enough water pressure for the showernLocation: 20 minutes walk from the closest train/metro station, 50 minutes from the airport with 901/902 services interchange at Broadmeadow station.
