Food is always great, used to go to another pub in the north east but over there the service has gotten worse. Sharon is a great server really nice and kind. She brings a refreshing light to hospitality.nnThe chefs did an amazing job as they’re supposed to, food cooked very well. Server very hot straight from the kitchen. The salads were astounding with the amazing dressing and everyone on the table at all their salad.nnDefinitely would recommend especially during the days they aren’t busy
As a visitor to The Pub for the first time. Sharon greeted me with a lovely smile. And helped me every inch of the way. Including meal suggestions etc. I ordered a 2 course Seniors Meal comprising Soup and main course. Each course was well presented and delivered hot. Excellent size meals..Sharon showed excellent customer skills when dealing with other patrons. I will call again in coming months. Decor is very user friendly and welcoming. Background noises are reduced Plenty of car parking. Highly recommended. Worth 1000
My wife and I visited this venue for the first time as we were passing through. Food was good and service from Tania was great. She greeted us as we entered the venue with a very warm welcoming. What I liked most was she followed up on her service by returning to us not long after we received our meal to ensure we were happy with it and if we required anything else. I also heard her following up on other tables to ensure they were happy too... Now thats great service as not very often nowadays you'll get someone coming to you to see how the meal is and if there is anything further they can assist with.
Came to excelsior hotel for lunch. Service was great with all staff happy and smiling. From the moment my family was sat down till we left, we enjoyed our stay. Food was fantastic and fulfilling. Good job excelsior staff management & well done to the chefs. Welcoming gift greatly appreciated
The food was absolutely delicious, especially lamb shanks and the service was top-notch. Anchal was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. She has truly managed to attain the highest standards of hospitality and service during the really busy time that are rare to experience these days. Her professionalism and attention to detail, from the welcoming hostess to the attentive waitstaff, reflect the perfect coordination within your team. I had an amazing experience on father’s day. I can't wait to come back and see her beautiful smile.
