The room was spacious, clean and warm enough. The service was great, quick no nonsense booking in, polite and understanding of our situation. Felt a bit unsafe at one point when some guy tried to get into our room. When I got up and opened the door this old guy just stood in front of the door of the next room as if it wasn't him and he ignored me. That was the only odd thing that happened.
I must have got the renovators deluxe suit. The photos on the site do not come close to the actual room condition. They're large rooms however very run down. Half of the architrave on the front door was missing so outside noise came in it's on a busy road. It's also over a flight path so you will hear plans up until 10pm.nThe bed base looked like it was recycled from the council cleanup and mattress was pretty ordinary. It squeaked every time I turned over.nThe bathroom although run down seemed clean.nThe kitchen area again looked like it was from a council cleanup. Very run down cupboards, benches.nDon't worry about the free wifi - it was terrible and didn't work. I ended up using my phone.nThe young lady at the front desk was at least nice and helpful.
We stayed here in September, room was ran down and very outdated,door was barely functioning with foam holding the handle from pulling through the rotten ply door, they required a bank transfer to pay prior to giving out the key as they were concerned we would demand our money backyes she told me this,she did not provide the details to check in late as discussed over the phone,beds were comfortable,shower good,dont book here if you want a clean room that dosent feel it belongs in a horror movie but it was cheaper than an escape room experience #room25
Checked in 6pm with my family of 5 , complained not long after about broken bed and a dirty bandaid on the window sill along with many other cleaning issues . Doona wasn’t even big enough for the bed . Curtains stained … lady from reception came at 830 to fix the bed … didn’t come back till 930 to actually fix it .. complained directly to her and got nothing .. will be contacting the ACCC and local accommodation groups as it’s not even the 3 stars they claim to be ..
Warning to any and all that might stay here.. I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH TO YOU.. DO NOT STAY HERE... THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE.. AS IS MANAGEMENT..especially those placed here by housing support services. The rooms are disgusting, unsafe and I had items stolen from me which management didn't care aboutnBe prepared for the most disgraceful service, disrespect and treatment.nnAbsolute disgrace. I will NEVER stay here and I will be informing all of the government housing support services of the atrocious facilities and service I received.
