Page and Pearce are a family owned business in Townsville. Todd Pearce and his wife and business partner Sue are the owners of Page & Pearce who employ 28 fulltime staff with an additional couple of part timers.

Page and Pearce offer two departments......Residential Sales and Property Management.

Todd and Greg Page’s relationship began in the early 90’s not long after they attended a new concept in real estate seminar. The challenge was to change the way real estate was traditionally performed especially in Townsville. “It was a new concept to perform real estate rather than the awful culture of greed that was existing in the industry and many offices that gave agents a bad name”, Greg said.

The system required ethics in real estate to not only be talked or bragged about but delivered by the agents and the Agency. Installing the System has consumed Greg and Todd’s professional life, in fact Todd was the first Agent Greg employed under the System.

It is quite ironic that Todd and Greg became business partners rather than employer and employee.

It was not until 2003, when Todd and Greg started their own agency...Page and Pearce Real Estate that they could finally get some clarity and momentum with the system. The system “The Pittard Training Group” training system for owners & sales consultants.

This system has introduced innovations such as: No Sale No Charge, The Sellers Protection Guarantee as well as Buyers Declarations. In fact Todd and Greg introduced the "FLAT FEE" property management guarantee which has been taken on by other Agencies who are members of “The Pittard Training Group”.

All these are just a few examples how this system is different to traditional Real Estate services.

The biggest noticeable change with the system is that Sales Consultants get paid a decent salary (with Bonuses) rather than the traditional “commission only”. A decent salary creates the right environment for sales people to say no to low offers from buyers. A big deal indeed!

In 2012 and 2013 Page and Pearce were acknowledged as the leading office as well as the number one Sales Team within Australia for “The Pittard training Group”. This is a huge accomplishment for an office which is not only located outside of the major capital cities but for Townsville.

In fact the Page and Pearce Sales Consultants are all in the TOP 20 selling agents within the training group.

Another foundation of the business is “the system runs the business, and the people run the system”. This mantra has helped the Property Management department prosper, with 95% plus approval ratings from many long standing Landlord/investor clients. (Survey Oct 2012)

Todd and Sue strive to make the office a happy, productive work place. With many of the staff serving for over 5 years. In fact 4 current staff moved over from when they worked at Honeycombes with Greg and Todd.

Page and Pearce Real Estate’s by-line “The Good Property People” came about from when they first started their business and they had a focus group organised by their marketing guru Alex McCormack from MAK advertising. From this focus group they came up with the by-line “the Good Property People” because of Greg and Todd’s reputation around town. They were both referred to as “straight shooters, with a genuine desire to serve clients first”. So this is how Page and Pearce “The Good Property People” came about.

In June 2013 a Company review was done by all staff employed by Page & Pearce at the time. The results were compiled and as an outcome some structural and physical changes have been made. Some points of change have been -

This has brought about quarterly team trainings, Mentoring for Leadership and Management
Implementation of Inspect Real Estate Access to literature The development of KPI’s and Operation Standards.

The introduction of Monthly Company Updates, Quarterly events and better communication between leadership, management and operations, and better office facilities – bigger work area’s, better office layout & better staff amenities has resulted with the office having a great "Culture" to work in.

In January 2014 Todd started the process of looking at appropriate sites and offices and shortly after found 153 Charters Road. We believe this move is a benefit to all of us and will bring continued growth and success to Page & Pearce, The Good Property People.

Todd and Sue are focused on building a culture of total dedication to achieving maximum results for their clients and customers. “Specialising in Residential Real Estate is what makes us successful and not diverting from what we do well is the key”. The ultimate goal would be for Page & Pearce to become the benchmark in real estate nationally.

I had a great experience as a vendor by using Page & Pearce to sell my property, JC was my agent however it was made very clear that the whole sales team would be involved in selling my home. I appreciated the fact that there was no “fluff” in the presentation and that her belief on valuation was backed up with real data and she had a great knowledge of those examples. I was kept informed throughout the whole process and continual reporting was sent through. I would recommend that you speak with this agency of looking at selling your home

The Team at Page & Peace Real Estate are awesome! If you’re on the phone with one of their team, or in their office, the energy feels different to others. I think that’s because they genuinely care about their clients and that energy makes you want to do business with them! In this day and age, it’s so refreshing to talk with people who actually care about you and who always put your interests ahead of their own. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Todd and Sue Pearce and their talented team to buyers, sellers, renters and investors!

If I could give no stars I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS REAL ESTATE. Wish I had read the reviews before I rented through these people. Their attitude and illegal activities are astounding. Firstly they refuse to hand over keys to the house unless you sit through an inhouse video. This is illegal. Once you've paid bond and rent and signed the lease they cannot refuse you access to the property, however that's exactly what they do. They conduct more routine inspections then allowed under law. Even when you notify them in writing they are breaching the law and that you do not permit them to enter the property, they do so. Further written objections results in no response from them. Constantly had tradesman turn up to do quotes, even though I was never told anything about it beforehand. Also illegal. When you attempt to vacate the property that's when all the issues really start. if you don't use the people they recommend they will contest your bond all the way claiming the people you have used to do carpet cleaning, etc are not good enough. They then go and get 'their people' to do it again and try claiming it out of bond. They try to claim other things from bond that the owner wants to fix/update in the property eg changing perfectly working airconditioning units for more update ones. AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I have rented with Page and Pearce for past three years, and it was been a great experience. Every maintenance request was addressed quickly , inspections were positive and finally the bond money was returned fully without much huzzle. Only downside i would say is that they don't have a fee free rental payment option. With my experience i do recommend Page and pearce for being " good" property people as advertised.

Cant go for one star even.Worst ever I have seen. Hmmm don't know from where to start because its too much to write about this people as they gave has really hard time. 1.Their maintenance web portal never work and have to send email property manager. If property manager see your email than in your in good position otherwise ring them and remind for maintenance work.Bedroom light had problem and took them 3-4 month to fix it after many emails and calls.I was told if it is something simple than I have to pay electrician.I am not electrician and I know simple thing like changing bulb or the starter.Finally electrician find out it was whole balast blew off.Three month in dark in bedroom. 2.Within two week of moving to unit we complain about vanity wall lamination was coming off.We complain immediately.I understand it takes a while too hear back from landlord about vanity.It took two month to let us know that vanity was brand new when we moved in and owner doesn't want to change it we will let you know if decision change.During this time vanity start deteriorating. Another few month we complain again as the vanity wall rotting and small fly were in bathroom.No actions were taken.Pest control guy (Organized by body corporate) has inspected by poking his finger in the that rotting wall made it worst.I send email straight away to property manager but nothing happen.We decided not to complain anymore as they seems not interested. 3. Time for vacating property we contacted few people for bond cleaning and some of them refuse saying its too much hassles as the property was under P&P. 4.Finally When we return the key and charge day worth rent for one hour late. And asked to replace the vanity.I forwarded all the previous email conversion with property manager again but she did not want to read and claim my bond to RTA. I refused and matter could not be solved by RTA. QCAT finally solved the matter in our favor. They could have save the money of landlord by following up with maintenance requests and looking at warranty of that vanity but they have already plan to make us pay for vanity. They have very good sale staff.I met couple of sale staff seems they are professional. But this is my story this may not happen to all.
