Unlike other Officeworks, this store seems like they are either understaffed or not really interested. War trying to get hold of someone for a printer cartridge, had to wait at least 15 minutes just to have a word... Then finally after picking it up asking with other things had to leave coz the wait to check out was ridiculous..
I have always come to this Officeworks for anything I need and have always had a pleasant experience until recently. I just ordered business cards and was told they will take a week which was perfect as I needed them for the weekend. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from them. I called the store today and was greeted with a very rude person. She wasn't interested in what I was asking about and told me she couldn't help me, I just had to wait for a text message. She then told me to wait and left me on hold for 10 minutes. When she came back to answer my call my phone was playing up and she couldn't hear me but I could hear her talking about me to another staff member. She again told me she couldn't help and I had to wait for the sms before I can come into store. I tried explaining that I understand but I need them for the weekend and she just kept saying I have to wait. I understand that some times these things may take longer but the fact that this lady was very inconsiderate and didn't even try to help me has made me not want to come back to use the services of this store. You have definitely lost a customer castle hill office works.
I can recycle there laptops, batteries, pens, printer cartridges, buy the stationary items I need & the printer inks. So nothing to complaint. It has always been easy to shop here, with the convenience of finding a parking spot in the mall. Easily accessible by the lift, this is a huge space with quite a variety of items in-store.
The bad reviews were right.... very understaffed and the remaining staff doesn't seem to care much about their work. I asked a staff member to get me something on top of a shelf after looking for staff for about 10 minutes She was nice enough and said that she'll get a ladder and I said alright... waited, waited, waited. Got a chair and waited. Nothing. She just disappeared. Looked around, there was one guy who was helping two people and there were about 4-5 other customers milling around looking for help. There was one male staff member in a moon boot who hobbled around like he was the most miserable man in the world. A customer asked him for help and you can tell he was just not happy about it. I finally found someone after about 10 minutes a lady who was just walking around here and there with a full trolley ignoring customers. She helped, it took her 30 seconds to get a ladder and hand me the item. I don't know why something so simple would've taken me over 20 minutes in the store. Obviously some of the staff here don't take pride in working - with all these bad reviews, what is the management doing???
This store location is convenient to the Hills area, second closest being Northmead. However, the willingness of staff to help is appalling. The manager lacks any sort of proper regulation within the store and does not help. This isn't the 90s, why is printing such a difficulty at this store. I call the store beforehand to ask questions in order to save time and leaving disappointed, yet l am disappointed every time. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING THERE. Whether it is a lack of stock or inability to print, there is always something wrong during my experience here. I asked a boy for the wifi password and he said it does not work, few minutes later l asked the lady at the counter and she gave me the password.
Officeworks is TERRIBLE! I wanted to get a jigsaw puzzle and the staff told us we had to do it ONLINE! Staff even told us to call another number to help you and they don't even UNDERSTAND THEIR OWN JOB AND BUSINESS!!! THEY JUST STOOD THERE CHATTING! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISGUSTING!!! I then received my jigsaw puzzle about 9 DAYS AFTER THE ORDER just to get an APPALLING jigsaw! THE WORDS WERE ALL BLURRED AND THE BOX WASN'T EVEN A BOX! IT WAS JUST SOME SORT OF ENVELOPE AND IT WAS $10! $10!!! Officeworks is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW RUBBISH IT IS!!!
Spent hours trying to figure out how to scan and print on the "Self-Serve" printers there without much success. A lady finally got a chance to come and help me but no one in the store had any idea how the printers/USB printing works and why my perfectly legitimate PDF file did not print. I took it to the library and got it printed within minutes. I won't be coming to officeworks for any printing jobs anymore.
Due to COVID-19 wearing masks is mandatory from the department of NSW health Gov as of today. Hope the situation get better soon and everyone is safe. Officeworks required customers to check-in mobile app before entrance and also they checked if customers are wearing masks - Good job! There were a lot of people buying stationaries for their children attending school prior to finishing a term 4 school holiday of 2020. Some stationaries already ran out of and shelves were almost empty although staffs seemed to be very busy at doing their best at restocking products. One of staffs was very helpful to find me a necessary stationary and his knowledge was pretty deep and informative to help me to make a quick decision as well. Most of staffs were profession and kids friendly - thank you very much!! Definitely recommended
The photo printer is realy hard to use and waiting 30 mins to get photos after submit. I would like to go to Kmart next time. BTW, staff are not friendly at all when asking for photos.
Your self serve photo print service is GARBAGE. LOL. Spent an 45 min trying to load photos from my phones so slow. Unresponsive. Crashed at the end and gave up and walked out. YOURE A JOKE LOL
