Nick’s Swiss Italian Restaurant. Established almost 27 years ago Nick’s is renowned for the culinary cuisine, excellent service, and outstanding variety of entertainment.

Story

Nick’s serves Swiss Italian cuisine and modern German and Australian dishes, from the a la carte menu. The range of eating experiences on offer at Nick’s are: - morning and afternoon teas; light or full lunches; dinners; special functions and events and takeaway meals. All our drinks are served from our rustic Yodellers Bar. Pizzas from the award winning Yungaburra Pizzeria are also available in Nick's Restaurant.

We were invited to this restaurant last Sunday for a family birthday lunch. What a huge disappointment. We were at the restaurant for 3 hours and during this time frame we were offered only 1 round of drinks - which we had to ask for. We all only ordered main meals - as we were sitting and waiting forever for someone to take our order- which again we had to go and ask them to come to the table!!! By 2pm - which by this time we had finished our mains - we still had all of the dirty plates left on the table and again we had to go and find someone for our dessert order. By 2.30pm - guess what - still no dessert, dirty plates still on the table 😡😡 By this stage we had had enough , we paid the bill and left. Never will we go to Nick,s again and I might also add that we traveled 1 1/2 hours to get there - on supposed reputation????? And on top of this the food was very ordinary.

Went on a quiet day and were treated to a really relaxed lunch. We ordered the Primavera, Margherita and Garlic pizzas and they all come out quickly, hot and incredibly delicious. The staff were lovely and the place is big, historic to look at inside and out and also has a really great feel to it. It has easy and accessible parking and is also wheelchair friendly. A really great spot!
