Had 5 lovely days there up on the third floor overlooking the pool. The room was fine and the king bed comfortable, shower over the bath was a let down. Meals were expensive so only ate in the restaurant once but had breakfast every day. Took the free bikes out twice for a ride with my wife and this always guarantees a laugh. The 5 o'clock punch is a bit watery but it gives you a chance to meet others if you're that way inclined. The only thing I missed was a gymnasium, only the ultra fussy wouldn't enjoy their stay at the Reef.

My husband and I are just back from this divine place after spending a week at Palm Cove and all that surrounds it. 
To say we had a fantastic short holiday is way too much of an understatement. 
Everything about Reef House was welcoming, sumptuous and geared for sheer relaxation and pleasure of their guests. And the food.... OMG!
If you wanted something, you only had to ask. 
We loved it so much we'll be returning with our family... watch out for that Reef House, and thank you for your graciousness.

Beautiful location and the food was more reasonably priced than I had expected. Portion size was generous and kid's meals were pretty good. I would eat here again.

Generous seafood platter, good wine selection and delicious cocktails. Was seated inside due to worries about weather but the tables are very close and given most wanted a romantic dinner, a few lads looking for seafood probably wasn’t well received. Initial wine bottle was also corked but was replaced as expected.

Fabulous place to stay so relaxing, right opposite the beach.  Staff are all excellent and restaurant very good. Would highly recommend this hotel.
