Came here with a table of twelve (pre-booked), and was promptly served by a waiter (Lachlan). We had to wait over half an hour for our food, but it was definitely worth the wait. The pork belly was a great size, and well cooked, and the lamb and steak were a great size. The only disappointment was the the three cheese ravioli, which was undersized. I would definitely recommend, but booking is essential.

The expectation outweighed the actual experience, Romano’s probably has one of the best outlooks, right on the quayside. The service was fragmented with or wine order coming to the table half way through our main course. The Lasagna was bland and boring, we had to ask repeatedly for table water, the staff seemed constantly busy. The other dishes seemed pretty good so 3 out of 5. Would give it another go just for the location.

Beautiful food, way bigger portion sizes than I would hsve expected from such a fancy place... so much food! Waiters really knew their menu, great to talk to :)
