I recently changed vets as I felt there was a strong lack of customer service and "real" care from them. I understand business's get busy but I don't believe that should alter the level of service you provide. If anything, it should show how they thrive in high pressure or high volume times, not show rudeness and be abrupt with "empty" expressions.  I had used Jamie some many years ago to put my beautiful dog of 16 yrs to sleep, it was important that it was done at my home where she would feel in her last moments at the most, at ease and comforted. I was a complete and utter mess prior to this however Jamie carefully and with great and professional care, explained the process of letting her go. This was the first time I used Mountain Gate Veterinary Clinic, 2016.  I wished at that time I remained with Jamie's clinic for my other two dogs but I didn't until I made the decision this year to move vets, to this date I deeply regret not doing it earlier for them.  My dog who is pictured, is now in the care of Jamie and his AMAZING-EMPATHETIC-WARM team after suffering a stroke. Prior to this Jamie has treated him for other things and has remained consistent with the level of service and care.  Costs associated to treatment & time is another thing that I'm truly grateful for when it comes to Mountain Gate Veterinary Clinic. I believe it to be more than reasonable that won't leave you scrounging for money or leave you feeling embarrassed if your're on a tight budget. Not everyone has pet insurance. Not everyone plans for these types of things. Not everyone is well off.  I don't feel judged there for being who I am when I'm a rambling mess due to anxiety because of my previous experiences, I don't trust easily. Jamie and his team just "get it".  So if you're reading this and are looking for an EXCEPTIONAL team of experts to care and treat your furry pet/loved one etc who "just get it" and remain consistent with their great service, then I highly recommend Mountain Gate Veterinary Clinic to help you, help your furry pet/loved one.

We took our 17 year old cat here for years after we weren’t wrapped with other vets. This husband and wife team provided our old girl with the best care and they couldn’t have shown any more respect, care and empathy when we had to say goodbye to her. We now take our 3 young cats here as they are very reasonably priced and offer the best care available. Very very happy with their love and ongoing care

Have been taking all my dogs to this vet for many years, their pricing is so affordable yet they do an amazing job each time and are so professional and caring. Jamie performed an emergency hysterectomy on my 16yo elderly dog, and she survived it. I was so amazed at their exceptional work and care. When my new puppy was having strange symptoms, Emily and Jamie discovered she had a rare condition when all the emergency vets we saw misdiagnosed her. The nurses are all so lovely every time and remember our names too, thank you to the entire team for always going above and beyond.

I have been going to Mountaingate for years. My three beautiful dogs have been under the care of Jamie, Mandy and other fabulous vets of the Mountaingate team. They are the most caring, compassionate and professional veterinarian clinic that I have ever been too. My Remi loves all the vets he see’s and every one of them has been thorough and at the same time attentive and kind to both myself and my pet. The beautiful staff out front are so caring, welcoming, knowledgeable and always friendly. It’s just a fabulous environment for you to walk into for everyone. Great job everyone… you’re all amazing

Lovely staff who are very helpful and friendly. I've taken my dog here a few times and it's been affordable, professional and they've had same day appointments available. Definitely recommend.

I have taken all my animals over the years to this vet ,  I would recommend anyone to bring your animal/animals to them, Mandy and Jamie are two of the nicest people I have ever met and they truly care for your animals.. they treat them all as if they are their own.. and the compassion to the owners of these beloved pets is excellent..
