The Boronia Veterinary Clinic and Hospital has been caring for local pets for over 45 years. Through the support of our pet owners, we have grown to become one of the largest companion animal practices in Australia.

We are very fortunate that with 17 caring vets and 23 dedicated nurses, we are able to provide a very diverse range of expertise . All of the vets still develop strong one on one relationships with our patient's owners especially if they have ongoing medical problems.

Our core philosophy is to provide the broadest range of choices for our clients, whilst always recognising that the "correct" test or procedure, does not have to be the most sophisticated one available.

All vets and staff have been sensationally caring and supportive in all ways possible to me and my mum's, now elderly, dog Clancy. Without them we would not still have him. They explain all aspects of his aliments, medication, treatments and procedures clearly and accurately and follow up to see how he's going.Their costs/fees are extremely reasonable. Can't recommend them highly enough.
The team at Boronia Vet Hospital are exceptional ,caring, so skilled, and all do their very best. Vet Tony did a difficult lump removal surgery for our dog Olive and we are forever grateful for the amazing skill and work done for Olive. Vet Tony, Vet Colleen , Vet Gianne and the team that looked after Olive all did their very best for her best possible outcomes. We are so very grateful and thankful for you all. Thank you to vet Michelle and the rest of the team.nnOur regular check-up with Simba yesterday turned to unexpected heartbreak, but we will be forever grateful that Michelle's thoroughness picked up the cancer on his liver and internal bleeding early enough to explain his lethargy, but before he was in serious pain.nnThis gave us the opportunity to send him to sleep peacefully, surrounded by love.nnThe empathy and kindness of your team will forever be a positive memory for us, even on one of the saddest days of our lives.nnEDIT: On 2 Jan 2025, we also lost our little Mr Tuna. Dr Gianne showed us the same kindness and compassion as Dr Michelle, and we were able to farewell our boy with mercy, dignity and love. For the rest of my life, I will forever be grateful to both of these wonderful vets for everything they did for my two little boys.
Timothy is fantastic! So careful and respectful of the fact my dog is reactive and still thorough and informative!nI don’t have much money to spend and he was happy to lay out prices for me as soon as he knew what I needed so that I could make sure I actually had the money, he didn’t make me feel guilty either for having to ask about price.nHe was happy to answer my questions I had and I didn’t feel like I was being pushed out the door.nnThank you! Very happy I feel like I’ve found somewhere to go consistently when needed.
Tldr: always had our cat's best interests at heart, checked up on her and was realistic about treatment options. Overall very impressed and would recommend highly.nnWhen our cat had an unexpected seizure we called this clinic and were able to bring her in right away.nnOur vet Jesse was calm and empathetic and with a sensible demeanor he explained possible causes of seizures and potential plans of action from there. He was transparent about costs and the practicalities of treatments and respected our decisions without judgement. Accepting his recommendation of a blood test, Jesse went above and beyond to call with the results later that night, which put our minds at ease that it wasn't something we were unknowingly causing within her environment.nnThe unknown cause and rarity of cat seizures was a difficult reality for us as cat owners who just want to make things better for our cat, however we have been able to contact the clinic with any queries or concerns and they always took the time to answer our questions without us needing to bring her in each time. Jesse even called us a week after starting seizure medication to check up.nnWe are very grateful for the empathy and help of the Boronia vet clinic employees.nIt has been invaluable to have vet Jesse during this health scare and we would recommend them to any pet owner.
