The Unusual Pet Vets have been looking our our guinea pigs Coffee and Toffee since 2022. We have found them to be very empathetic and always giving the best of care to Coffee and Toffee. Even at their last stages, The Unusual Pet Vets contimued the best care and guided us on how to say our parting farewell. We recommend them highly for families who have exotic pets who need just that extra care. Thank you for looking after Coffee and Toffee.
We have been bringing our 11 year-old rabbit, Olivia, to The Unusual Pet Vets Ferntree Gully since 2014 then called Melbourne Rabbit Clinic and I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. Olivia has facial paralysis and requires ongoing care, and throughout the years we have always felt she is in the very best hands.nnDr Zoe is absolutely incredible – knowledgeable, compassionate, and so dedicated. They always take the time to explain everything clearly, treat Olivia with such gentleness, and go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and well cared for. It’s rare to find a vet who not only has such expertise but also goes above and beyond, which Dr Zoe shows at every single visit. Dr Zoe even makes birthday hats for Olivia every year nnThe reception team and the whole clinic staff are also amazing – always friendly, supportive, and willing to help with anything we need. From the moment we walk in, we feel welcomed and reassured.nnOur family is so grateful to have Dr Zoe as Olivia’s vet and to be supported by such a wonderful team. Thank you all for the outstanding care you’ve given Olivia over so many years.
I was recommended to Ferntree Gully UPV by my nail technician for specialised care of my senior pet bunny.nWe regularly visit this clinic every month and receive the most professional level of care at every appointment from the lovely staff- admin, nurses and vets. They are all very knowledgeable and I trust them completely with the care of my bunny.nHighly recommend 10/10!!!
If I could give this clinic 6/5 stars, I would. I have been fortunate enough to experience the care and expertise that this clinic offers from both sides of the consult table. Initially as a client having brought my own 3 pet buns here for years and also as a final year vet student lucky enough to learn under the guidance of the amazing Dr Lara, Dr Zoe and Dr Sharon as well as all the beautiful and equally knowledgeable nursing staff. Apart from the large array of exotic pets that are provided with the most incredible quality of care at this clinic, the most “unusual” thing about the hospital is the kindness, compassion and love shown by the entire team. Thank you to all at UPV Ferntree Gully, I hope to work alongside you all again one day!
