I had a seamless experience as a patient in the Knox Day Hospital. Everything from the check in till discharge was done professionally and the staff members were very friendly. I was not nervous at all during my appointment as the Doctors and Nurses were really informative and kind, they explained everything with compassion to ease the nerves. There was no complications after the procedure, they were truly competent. Thank you for the premium service! Will recommend to friends and family when they need to get endoscopy done :
One star is for the two after care nurses, they were lovely and very helpful.nThe low score is mostly due to the poor communication and waiting over 2hrs. Both medical professionals were rude and in such a hurry, I did not feel comfortable at all. I sent through a feedback and complaint and requested a reply. Safe to say, a month on, still not reply. Shows the arrogance of this place. If you can avoid it, I would not recommend this place.
Never ever ever use this place. The reception cancelled my appointment without communication so had done the horrendous prep and everything only to be told on the day it wasn't going ahead. The lack of empathy and professionalism was disgusting. The doctors may be great but never would I recommend going here due to the front of house.
It is unfortunate that giving less than 1 star is not possible. Commencing with the extreme rudeness and inappropriate, unprofessional, bad attitude of the receptionist, both over the phone and then upon arrival, the procedure resulted in a level of pain, the cause of which I could hear the surgeon speculating about whilst I was waiting for the ambulance to transport me to A & E. He wondered about the possibility they had caused internal damage. The lack of follow up from the clinic was disappointing, but not surprising.
I was very pleased with how simplistic and stress free the whole process was with Direct Endoscopy Bayswater. Every single receptionist, nurse, doctor and anaesthetist on the team was kind and explained the procedures very well to me. I didn't feel rushed, which I value in any kind of medical situation. The new building and location felt modern and clean, and I appreciated how they called me to see if I'd like to bring my appointment forward when someone else cancelled. All around a good and easy experience, thank you.
