Told that we must be there at 8, then stay in waiting room till after 9. Was told it's 90 min before I can take her home, I got a phone call after 90 min saying come in ....in another 30 min to pick up my wife. I go in after 30 min and wait another 20min before she's allowed to leave. No, there were no complications. Then when we get home she still has a canular in her arm. Terrible communication and terrible nursing sending someone home with that still in her arm.
I was very pleased with how simplistic and stress free the whole process was with Direct Endoscopy Bayswater. Every single receptionist, nurse, doctor and anaesthetist on the team was kind and explained the procedures very well to me. I didn't feel rushed, which I value in any kind of medical situation. The new building and location felt modern and clean, and I appreciated how they called me to see if I'd like to bring my appointment forward when someone else cancelled. All around a good and easy experience, thank you.
Rejected me because on the day of colonoscopy I did not attend the facility with a friend and used uber to drive to the facility!nnFor a half an hour outpatient procedure they expect 2 people to take off a day off.
Direct Endoscopy Bayswater 'abandoned' my 'urgent' colonoscopy because they did not have the full range of scopes. I have contacted them twice asking for a formal response to no avail. No complaints officer was identified and reception has given me the wrong email and contact. I have since had excellent surgical and diagnostic treatment at Box Hill Hospital for Colon Cancer. I will never recommend Direct endoscopy to anyone requiring an 'urgent' colonoscopy.
I had a seamless experience as a patient in the Knox Day Hospital. Everything from the check in till discharge was done professionally and the staff members were very friendly. I was not nervous at all during my appointment as the Doctors and Nurses were really informative and kind, they explained everything with compassion to ease the nerves. There was no complications after the procedure, they were truly competent. Thank you for the premium service! Will recommend to friends and family when they need to get endoscopy done :
