I can't believe the kindness and professionalism of the staff working here. I came to have my IUD changed and was absolutely terrified to the point of crying and being quite a drama queen. The lovely nurse and Dr were so kind and caring and took great care of me. I'm sure I squeezed the nurses hand so tight her knuckles haven't recovered : Lovely people, you'll be well taken care of here :
They lie they don’t help and every time we call to book an appointment they say that the doctor isn't in but when i went there he was there Also today i went there with a sore throat fever headache body ache and i was literally dragging myself to get there and i told them that i need an appointment and the said you look fine and i asked for a prescription but said no because it gonna be more expensive if we do and u can’t afford that AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY RACIST overall they do whats best for them and nit the patients
Receptionist lies. Told me doctor not in the buiding when I could clearly hear his voice. More than 8 months since I've seen a doctor & I have a life threatening illness and have to keep going to A& E. For help. The surgery is paid for each client and so far this year have given me NO service.
Would give no starts rate if possible. This is the most inefficient and unhelpful surgery I have ever experienced. Firstly they don't accept new GP registration online so you need to miss work to walk in between their open days and hours - 11 am to 2 pm. Second their staff is so unreliable that they gave me a wrong information on the phone so I missed work to go there and register today, a Wednesday, and they said it's only on Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. With this I can only imagine how wonderful their actual care must be!
I phoned up one morning. I was offered a telephone consultation which happened within 2 hours. It then required a face to face appointment which was offered to me within the hour. Dr Kelly was empathetic, caring and professional. My prescription was sent electronically to the pharmacy and I collected it on my walk home. From initial phone call to being back home with suitable medication it was about 4 hours.
I went in today to book an appointment 8am weekday which I would recommend because there was no one there and it took me 5 minutes. She also told me I can pick up from moores pharmacy around the block. Another recommendation if you want to avoid poor service is to book online, you can go and ask for your credentials so you don’t have to speak with anyone except the doctor.
The older one is clearly rude and does not know how to welcome the client. I've already looked for the GP 5 times to be able to register and this woman always gave different excuses to come back at different times. The fifth time she interfered with my conversation with the other attendant and didn't let her answer. If he instantly looked to see who I was and aggressively and loudly, he said he was busy at that time and asked me to return at 15 o'clock because the GP change service didn't work at a certain time. Who else has problems with this employee, open the complaints so that we can alert those responsible.
Absolutely gobsmacked at the level of service here. I had to phone 30 times just to be able to talk to someone - no that is not an exaggeration, the phone line only worked after 30 attempts and several hours of trying. I was attempting to book a 2nd covid vaccine and the person on the phone booked me in at a time I can't make and hung up the phone before I even had chance to respond and ask for a later time. Shockingly poor and by far the worst GP surgery I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Register at a different GP if you are able to so that you don't suffer the same fate.
The older lady is very rude. I’ve already visited the gp for 3 times to get the sick note. And spoke over a call aswell. I was sick for last 7days my work place asked me to get a fit note. I clearly mentioned her I need a note to prove my work that I visited the gp. And when I got the note it was completely wrong I got as ‘NOT fit to work’ and the dates were wrong and when I went back to work the same day looking at the note my manager told me he can’t allow me to work when I have this note n I was send home. Because of this rude lady I’m home without pay. After that i called the gp and told her that she did wrong note she said she doc can’t give you sick note for 7days….. I visited again to the gp the same day n I was trying to explain the other young beautiful receptionist about the matter that the note is completely wrong n this old lady interrupted when I was talking to other lady n she started yelling at me saying I told u earlier that the doc can’t give a note for 5days. Ohhh n the not to fit note was 2weeks which I never asked for. Still I didn’t receive my note when I told them this time I won’t be coming to the gp to collet n I want them to mail me n till now I haven’t received it. Weekend the gp be close so because of this lady im gonna be home for more 2 days…..it’s always been said doctors place is a 2nd temple but this place is something else. We visit doc to get well but this receptionist is making us more sick.
Incredibly frustrating to work with, unhelpful, and uncommunicative. If you want anything done plan well in advance and prepare to have to advocate for yourself, follow up with them when they inevitably don’t do their jobs correctly, and call multiple times for single issues and be prepared for the phone service will drop you a number of times before finally connecting you. Requires micro management for everything.
