I've been a patient of this practice for the best part of 30 years, you could not wish for a more professional service than that provided by Dr David Foster and Dr Igor Jakubowicz, Highly recommended.
Dr Igor is unbelievably good, one of the very best GP's I've ever seen. The practice manager though has an unbelievably poor attitude, probably the rudest person I've ever come across at a doctors surgery from Perth to Thursday Island, just a disgraceful person.
So frustrating. Made an appointment for a face to face consult. Called on a Wednesday for a Saturday appt. Explained that I have a cough, etc. They said no problem, I'll need to wait in the car for the doc to come see me. All good. Then they call me 30 mins before the appt on Saturday saying the doctor is refusing to see anyone with Covid symptoms. I explain the conversation but they don't budge. Refuse to see me even over Telehealth. I understand they need to be careful when it comes to Covid, but get your processes straight. If they had been upfront with me from the start I would've found somewhere else. Now it's Saturday, and all she can say is "Sorry, you shouldn't have been told that". I wasn't going to leave a review about it because I thought it was a one off but now the exact same thing has happened to a friend. Get it together. People are sick and need help, not the run around.
Fantastic Customer Service After missing 2 appointments for Dive Medicals and totally stuffing these lady's on the front desk around; they've still been so willing to help to reschedule and just gone above and beyond. Absolute asset to their team and I hope the Boss's check these reviews :
Nice and friendly atmosphere with very professional staff I highly recommend this practice , I have been to many a medical clinics over the years due to a spinal condition degenerative discs and impingement of the sciatica nerve and have not found a better practice in the local area I see dr Igor mainly but I have seen a few of the other staff like Dr Cheng and everyone has been super friendly and very knowledgeable , also the reception staff have always been quite good to me they're always very friendly and even bent over backwards to get me last minute appointments before . Again I cannot recommend this practice enough :
Pathetic doctors. Went there with an allergy. instead of doing any tests told me to "stay away" Also went to get a referral. Was told to go find someone then come back and they will do the paperwork. I dont know who to find thats why I was there for them to recommend someone. Doctor doesn't care for his patients, all he cares for is the next person so they can make more money the more people he can see in a day. I was still in the middle of the consultation and he walked out and called the next patient. very rude, not caring, he should NOT be a doctor with that attitude.
Useless doctors specially the old Asian doctor I forgot his name. He can't do anything.
My family & I have been attending this clinic since they opened & I’d just had my 1st baby 28 years ago. Doesn’t that make us all feel old they were down in much smaller premises near chemist & what is now Woolworths. They have always looked after us extremely well I could not be happier. I mostly see Dr David & Dr Igor, I have a very complex medical history they both always know what’s going on with me. I would not consider going anywhere else.
I have an interesting medical history, so I need a clinic that offers good continuity of care. I usually see Dr Cheng, but if I have "women's issues" like a pap smear, I will use one of the female doctors. You are spoiled for choice at Colchester and Knoxfield. I have only ever had one bad experience at this clinic and the doctor responsible no longer works there. Dr Cheng is quite direct in his approach, but always friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Nolle is fantastic for a woman's perspective and was responsible for getting the tests done to get to the cause of a bleeding issue I was having. I have been a patient of Colchester and Knoxfield Medical Centres for many years now and feel very confident in the level of care I receive. I have read reviews criticising the reception staff. I have always found them very friendly and highly professional. Just recently I required urgent appointments to get results, etc... and they managed to fit me in either at Colchester or Knoxfield. I have never experienced rudeness from any of the staff or doctors that work here. The fact that the doctors have been here for so long suggests to me that it is a good clinic and work environment. My son also attends the clinic and has been treated very well.
I have found Igor Jakubowicz to be one of the nicest, caring, knowledgeable Doctors I have come across. His relaxed disposition and non judgemental approach is exactly what I needed. Along with Igor, I have found the whole team of doctors, nurses, and reception staff to be nothing but friendly, approachable and professional. It is obvious, a very good team is working within the walls of Colchester Medical Center. I would highly recommend their expertise in their specialised fields.
