My partner & I recently purchased a used 1 series m sport from John Bailey. The service from the start of the entire sales process was absolutely fantastic and possibly the best service I have ever experienced from a dealership I have owned many cars. After requesting a ‘Citnow’ video of the vehicle, John promptly sent across a detailed overview of the car via an email link, introducing himself and taking to the time to explain all features, optional extras and minor marks on the front wheel and rear bumper, as the vehicle has only just arrived into stock minor cosmetic work hadn’t been carried out. I called John during the week and told him my partner & I would like to travel over to Southport to view the vehicle. This was at rather short notice yet when we arrived the vehicle has been valeted and was parked outside the front ready for inspection and test drive. Fantastic. The test drive was positive and their set route provided a mixture of urban, rural and national speed limit driving to allow us to get a true feel for the car. We were very happy so went into the showroom to negotiate with the intention to leave a deposit. We were then greeted by Alex the sales manager & Gary Watson the Finance Manager. Both were extremely professional and personal in their approach, taking the time to find out about us and did their utmost to get to where we wanted to be with the vehicle. A deal was done, deposit was left and all information was carefully explained and documented. The following weekend we arrived to collect the car, all minor cosmetic work has been carried out professionally with absolutely no evidence of where the marks were initially, the car has been valeted to the highest of standards and everything was explained thoroughly during handover. To conclude, we are very happy with the car, the service we received from start to finish and we would definitely recommend Halliwell Jones Southport to anybody for a new or used vehicle. I will be contacting BMW UK also to inform them of this impeccable service. Thank you again to call.

I can't recommend Halliwell Jones Southport highly enough, their customer service is second to none. The staff at both the Mini and BMW side are extremely helpful and nothing is ever too much Trouble. I am on my fourth mini now from them and the thing that keeps me going back is the impeccable service and friendly helpful staff. If a car ever needs to go in for a service or repair it's done with minimum fuss and the jobs are completed to a very high standard. I couldn't be happier with the cars I have from here and while the service is this good, I will definitely keep going back. Even Covid-19 hasn't interrupted the excellent customer service, thank you for making everything as easy as possible!
Bought a lovely used 3 series from here a few months ago. Adam Howard, the sales rep I dealt with, was brilliant and got the deal done at a price I was happy with efficiently and quickly. This included trading in my old car, which they gave a good price for, and was very easy to do. I did notice a few things wrong with the car after purchase very minor like the odd rattle, and a brake light fogging up but the service team has been great with prompt replies to emails and getting things booked in to be fixed - all part of buying a used car, and all covered under the warranty so no complaints from me. Overall I couldn't recommend this dealership enough - much more pleasant to deal with than some of the dealers in the big city centres.
Julie and Alex in the Service dept were absolutely amazing. So caring and professional. My parents will now be bringing their Mini Countryman to this Service Dept due to the excellent customer service we received.
These guys look after both our Mini and BMWseveral before too, always been great service and nice staff. But please for the life of me, stop diverting your customers calls to a call centre, they are overpricing work, and trying to send me to other dealers for my servicing, restore the personal touch.
Small but Attractive Mini showroom offering full Sales and Aftersales Facilities. Polite Receptionist greeted me. Spoke with Charlie Ellison Service Consultant who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly - efficiently and expertly dealt with my booking - the experience far exceeded my expectations and I will undoubtedly recommend this Dealership as a result of his service.
Called twice to book my car in for a service. Both times I’m told they’re busy and will call back... but no one ever calls. Took my car to another dealer instead
Did service and mot. No advisories. Service light was not reset. My wife rang up to ask about resetting. Service desk stated that brakes need servicing. Load of rubbish. Tried to take advantage! Took to another garage who confirmed brakes were fine and service light was reset. Never use them again
