I would like to say a special thanks to Brandon and Alex for their excellent customer service. They were both very friendly and made me feel at ease. They really made the experience of having to trade and get a new car easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. They really went above and beyond to work with me and get the car I wanted. They did an amazing job. 10 out of 10.
10/10 service from both the Sales and Service teams! We dropped in on our way home from school drop off at about 9:30 to look at a car without knowing if they had one in stock- it turns out they did and offered us a drive in the demo. Our trade was valued within an hour and they gave us the opportunity to “ring around” to see if we could get more for it- we made 3 phone calls to other dealers and all offered $3,000 under what we were offered. The workshop completed the pre-delivery within 5 hours and by the time we did school pickup the car was ready for us to pick up! Since then it’s been in for a service which was fast and way cheaper than we were expecting! and the car was washed and vacuumed! We’re buying another car in July and will definitely be going back to see Steve and Hamid!
The reviews speak for themselves. Had an engine failure last year in August 2022 due to pistons leaking which is a known issue and was a recall for Hyundai Konas built in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Took months of back and forth finally got approved for repair. Now less than 24hrs after the repair the engine light came back on, I called customer care and was told to take the vehicle straight back in. I was advised another part of the engine needed to be replaced something that was previously approved by the service manager via email so it's on WRITTING!! I was told last year in October they would order the part and replace it. In February this year 2023 I rang them for over a month trying to get an update only to be told they never ordered the part and warranty was rejecting the claim, after it was approved. Over months of back and forth on the 21st February the new service manager confirmed via phone call recording that the part was approved by warranty and the part would be in, in May. Have rang them today to find out when we are due to go in due to no updates, he now goes back on his word saying we have to pay for it because Warranty is refusing to. Now they telling me to call customer care again! Fact- it's a known engine fault in Kona! Fact- you approved this twice and now keep changing your mind Fact- it's been over 8months waiting for repairs Fact- you have multiple class actions against you and a new one this year with thousands of people due to Engine faults! Will never ever buy Hyundai again and this is the worst branch to deal with. Liars, unresponsive and just unprofessional. Lucky for me I have all the evidence I need. DO NOT BUY!
My overall experience with Hyundai has lead to never wanting to purchase a Hyundai ever again sadly. This is my first hyundai, going from Holden, and unfortunately the whole experience has been one to forget. The whole purchasing process was so stressful, from them upselling a tinting package, taking my payment but actually not applying the tint amongst other issues. Now I have an issue with the diff and been advised by my mechanic to limit the use of the vehicle to avoid any further damage and Hyundai cannot see the vehicle for another 2+ months and make no effort to see it prior. How can they be ok with this? If anything major happens to the vehicle, well untimately the responsibility lies with Hyundai as I've tried my best to get it looked at. I just don't understand how they can operate a business like this.
I am at Hyundai service dept at Southport, so far my experience has not been good..let me tell you l have always had Hyundai cars for many years always had excellent service until now.. Brought my l30 back again after having steering column replaced 2 or 3 times cannot remember exact amount, l was told 6mths ago that they couldnt find any noise, so their the experts gave in and took my car back. A couple of months later the noise was getting louder so returned again, have to wait 2 mths to get car booked in too busy..So here l am the gentleman who greeted me looked over the sheet and said l will have to pay $175.00 for diagnostic report, no way l have never paid that before and its the same problem, seen the manager his waived that fee now taken for a test drive, if they dont hear the noise its back home the car goes..Now remembering this is intermitten not all the time.. So lets see what they come up with now..Treat woman as if we are stupid, if it is doing the same thing as before its the same problem
The lack of communication and organisation with regards to our broken down vehicle which has been at the dealership for 2 weeks and counting is very disappointing. The only phone call that has been returned i was asked to inform what was completed on its last scheduled service, when the log book is located in the vehicle.

How do I begin to praise the astounding level of customer service provided to me by Caleb. The effort he puts in is above and beyond what would ever be required. I went in knowing exactly that I wanted to upgrade to an i30 Sedan, and Caleb provided me the news that of course I'd have to wait till next year, not a problem with myself as I was happy to wait for a dream car. After a month of my order being in the system, I get a surprise call from Caleb that there's an identical model coming in within the next few months and it can be mine. Caleb gave me all the resources, service, and support needed to get my new car much earlier and I cannot express my appreciation. The whole team at Gold Coast Hyundai were more than amazing when it came to the sale, accessories, financing, and hand over and I will not be able to thank them enough.
Not saying Hyundai Southport but omg very very bad service I’ve been calling since March 7th and still no response from Hyundai all von Bibra Helensvale about my sons 2020 N Line, he purchased this car not even a year ago with finance of $31,000 and it’s taken over a week to get a call back the car has no reverse with the reverse light flashing Constantly and when out in reverse it sounds like the engine is gunna stop NOT HAPPY considering this is a $31,000 car not even had it for 12 months and no one has the decency to phone us make about this matter left us no choice but to go to our local MP my family and I will never deal with this company again
Our 4th new Hyundai car, they make great vehicles, and they are good value. Caleb Artz our showroom sales rep was 2nd to none a 100% dedication to his customers, thank you Caleb we are loving our Kona.
