Couldn't be happier with the effort put in by the team at James Frizelle's. I had to travel from North side of Brisbane all the way to Southport whilst only finishing work at 1545 and thanks to traffic, got there a lot later than planed. However the guys hung around to help me out and and I managed to get the car I want. Awesome service, super friendly staff! Thanks heaps!

Fantastic service from Cameron Giles @ James Frizelle’s Automotive Group, he is really good,he’s doing a good job,We do really appreciated the services that he provided with us, and I’m happy with my new car. The sales person was great, there was absolutely not an ounce of pressure on making the sale. They even arranged the interstate registration. Talking with the car protection specialist again was easy and pressure-free. Unfortunately what let the team down was the financing part. The original price we were given suggested that the interest rate on offer would be close to 17% (when accounting for all fees and charges). However with a “very good” to “excellent” credit score and the means to comfortably repay I find that hard to believe (the dealer will often make up a weak excuse as to why it is what it is). We ended up being offered a rate of 9.5% via St George which is who they use. Unfortunately I made the mistake of telling my partner to hear the finance team out in the first place. What I had intended was for them to make an offer, and if we didn’t like it then we’d go somewhere else. But my partner hates confrontation and doesn’t have the courage to negotiate which means she was happy to pay the premium to use the dealer’s finance agent. What gets me really worked up is not the interest rate of 9.5% (even though you can easily find something closer to 7-7.5% and without massive $400 establishment fees and ridiculous direct debit fees of $6/month), it’s the fact that they have the balls to charge $750+ which you need to borrow against your loan to pay the guy who gets you the finance in the first place. Again, my partner was comfortable paying this because she had been approved and doesn’t like to go “back and forth”. My advice to those reading this is to steer clear of the dealer’s financing arm and instead get your own finance. 9 times out of 10, if you have a good credit score and are within your means, you’ll find a much better finance offer on your own (use a comparison website to shop around). I still wish I hadn’t mentioned dealer finance, should have known better. $750+ for doing not much else but printing papers is a ridiculous fee which is far from deserved. It’s a real shame that James Frizelle allows these blatant rip-offs to occur. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when the sales experience was pristine. I hope no one else makes the mistake of talking to their (JF’s) finance team, particularly if you are a poor negotiator/don’t like bartering as they won’t “look after you”, they will take full advantage and rarely respect the budget you set out in the first place. 3 stars lost because of this. For those thinking, well it’s your own fault, no one forced you to get the finance, you are abosolutely correct, and I kick myself that she signed off on it anyway. My point is that they’ll take you for a ride if you let them, so it’s their integrity which comes into question. I would have never signed, but i’m experienced and I know how to negotiate. I tried my best to get my partner to let me do the talking but was “ok” to waste the money because she could still afford the weekly repayments. For the less experienced, please be careful. Godspeed.

Go and see Kevin Paynter at used cars. Completely different approach to selling cars. Not pushy and for a used car salesman his product knowledge was impressive. Highly recommend him to all
