I have purchased all of our IT equipment for our not for profit small business over many years from landmark computing. Nathan Bird particularly is very knowledgeable. He provides great advice, is quick to send you quotes and delivery is super fast. Keep up the great work.
Had a laptop screen that was badly damaged - got quotes from probably 5-6 different repair places around Melbourne that differed in price by hundreds of $ for the same repair. When I showed up to LMC, I showed Simon my issue and he quickly gave me the most reasonable quote out of all the places I checked previously, even detailing why the cost was what it was. He repaired it significantly quicker than the other places would've and was also very friendly! I truly appreciate the transparency and willingness to help out rather than rip me off. Highly recommend!
Went in looking for recommendations on laptops and talked to one of the consultants that recommended one that happened to be on special. When I purchased it, I was told it would meet my two requirements of standard use and low level gaming told the consultant the specific games I would be playing. The laptop can handle standard use fine however it cannot handle the low level gaming! I am now left with a laptop that cannot do half of what I wanted it to do. I emailed the consultant asking if he had any recommendations ie settings etc I can change to help improve the situation but received no reply. Then I asked if I could swap it for another one or get a refund and have been informed I have to get a letter from the laptop maker etc etc etc which seems like a way to throw customers off. Quite disappointing as I bought a $1000 laptop in 2014 that was able to meet my requirements easily but this laptop at the same price mark in 2020 cannot. I feel like the laptop was on sale as Landmark computers wanted to get rid of their final units and was recommended this to help them clear their final units despite not being able to meet my requirements. I will be returning to the store expecting a full refund. Update: Have received a full refund.
Amazing team of people. Especially Chris was brilliant in his recommendation on a new notebook. He didnt try to sell but provided information so that I would definitely obliged to buy from them. Keep up the great customer service. Very credible IT specialists. !
I cannot recommend Landmark Computers highly enough. Their prices are better than ordering direct with Lenovo and they are fantastic to deal with. They also offer a three year onsite warranty I've popped into their store and left shortly after with a great laptop at a great price. I previously ordered online and my purchase arrived the next day.
The only place i find the charge for my laptop
Fantastic service by Simon when my laptop died for no reason. He was able to get it up and running under an hour, and charged me very reasonably because it "wasn't a big job" even though he could've charged me more and I wouldn't know any better. Extremely refreshing honesty and genuinely helpful. Would refer anyone to them in a heartbeat. Thanks SImon!
I had a terrible experience at this place, I hope my review will help other people, not to get tricked from the good reviews, as has happened to me. Simon, the technician, has brutally ripped me off. I brought my MacBook Pro to get cleaned, as some liquid was spilled on the keyboard; I accepted to pay $120 to try to fix the matter with a good cleaning, but Simon called me back through the phone, saying that I needed to pay $300 to replace the keyboard. I trusted him, and asked him to proceed; again, he called me back saying that he made mistake ordering a cheaper product, so I had to pay $100 for the proper part, which I refused to, as I wasn’t aware of any of this operations he was trying to do, to save money on the parts, and It was not my mistake either, if he ordered the wrong one. He was quite annoyed, but obligated to fix the matter ordering the proper key board on his own expense. Once the job was done and paid, when I tried my laptop back home, with accuracy and calm, I found out that 4 keys wouldn’t work, and the trackpad was super stiff and wouldn’t click anymore. I made the mistake to call him, instead of put everything down on an email, I brought the laptop back and he was quite annoyed, but he said he was going to do the job again, replacing again the keyboard, but it was very difficult for him because it could only be a cable, and it was just few keys not working and he couldn’t get the trackpad back to click, and lots of complaints, so pretty much he was the one complaining about the time that the job was taking him, and he wasn’t rising any money by that. When I left the store he started to communicate with me through emails, to protect his self, and starting to blame the Apple for a keyboard defect, and pushing me to go to the Apple ensuring that they will refund me for the $300 I spend to pay him, as he doesn’t want to give me my money back but he didn’t deliver any service. At the moment he is lying on emails, saying that I am asking him to proceed with the matter as he wants, putting me in the position to take this further and still being unable to have my computer back to work, and creating a damage on a $1900 device. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Had a great experience. Rito was extremely helpful in working out which laptop would be best for my needs. Answered my questions, made useful suggestions. I will not buy another computer without consulting him. Highly recommended.
