He is the PERFECT JB Hi-Fi Melbourne Central GAMING SECTION SUPERSTAR and I THANK him so much for the absolute AMAZING 5-STAR friendly and helpful customer service he provided me with hours ago today on Sunday 4th January 2026, absolutely MADE my day, I will never forget it and I will always be deeply grateful towards him. It's a tremendous honour to both meet and be served by him as a avid gamer myself.nnI had a $100 JB Hi-Fi gift card THANK YOU so much to my friend Kate for giving it to me as a present I am so grateful and honoured which covered almost the entire total cost of both a white wireless Xbox Series X/S controller AND a rechargeable battery pack for it; both items understandly were behind a security lock, I politely asked Kieran to unlock both items, which he did so cheerfully.nnKieran did an absolutely AMAZING job of facilitating my purchase of both aforementioned items plus a handy compact JB Hi-Fi paper carry bag with logo and built in handles via redeeming my aforementioned $100 gift card and paying for the remaining $3 via card. I noticed I didn't think to scratch off the section of the gift card that revealed the pin number needed and apologised to Kieran and he was so nice about it. I also asked for a yellow cloth bag and Kieran so kindly suggest that aforementioned paper carry becomes the cloth bag was so big and indeed the paper bag was far better for carrying both items, I thanked Kieran for being so thoughtful and helpful. Then he provided me with bothba paper receipt and so kindly asked for my mobile phone number so the receipt can be texted to me. I THANK both Kieran and JB Hi-Fi Central so much that there is a dedicated cash register AND Eftpos station specifically at the gaming section than saved me a TON of time I would have had waiting in line at the central cash register and Eftpos station that is used to facilitate general purchases. I tremendous appreciate that!nnUpon my purchase being facilitated and completed by Kieran, I expressed my deep gratitude to Kieran by not thanking him profusely but immediately telling before I left that at the absolute latest, just before 12 midnight tonight, I will both type up and post a 5-star Google review about honoured and put in 100% positive feedback as well as Kieran express immense gratitude to be, thanking me profusely as well. I would have given this place a 1-star rating if it weren’t for the genuinely lovely gentleman at the register who ended up helping me. Unfortunately, my experience before that was pretty disappointing.nThe woman with the dirty blonde long hair and nose ring was extremely rude and completely ignored an Indian couple who had been waiting patiently. When she saw that I wasn’t going to just walk away, she finally acknowledged me—though it was clear she did so reluctantly—and then directed me to another register.nnThankfully, the tall gentleman who assisted me there was polite, friendly, and made the rest of the interaction much better. His attitude was the only redeeming part of the visit.

went to buy the underwater earbuds shok brand and “Will” the guy was so easy to work with I went in with one thing and then I came out with two. I wanted to make another purchase with will so on that day he sold me the meta glasses at 18:30 awesome guy even his coworker said “one of the best”…give this guy “Will” a raise. He even told me essential warranty information!! If you’re ever asking for tech purchases ask for Will!!

Bad experience today when I visited this store on 2nd June. The manager offer the other customer for the whoop in discounted price which is 509, the ori price is 599, and when my turn, he said he can’t offer the same discounted price and ask me wait for sales. This is ridiculous and might be racist!

Every staff member I encountered at the Melbourne Central store was super lovely — every interaction was genuinely amazing!n***Special shoutout to Finn***, who went above and beyond to help me find the MacBook I wanted. She was incredibly patient, friendly, and had amazing customer service and problem-solving skills. She took the time to explore options and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.nnThank you to Finn and the Melbourne Central team for such a great shopping experience.
