Very helpful staff, but lacking out of box items to test items like phone covers. I was told I couldn't test try or even see the case, as they would have to open the box and then they couldn't sell it. This was for the Note9 case with credit card holder in the front of the case. I had my brand new note9 in one hand and my iphone plus with the tech21 double flap case with 2 credit card slots in the other. Obvious I wanted one to most people.
NEVER buy a Samsung product. Their service dept is AWFUL. Waited over 4 weeks for a DOA monitor to be replaced just to be told a repaired unit would be sent even though I specifically told them I wanted a replacement due to the unit being less than 2 days old!. Disgraceful!!!!
The store is nice and a good place to try multiple Samsung devices at once, but seriously if you buy devices from here your just throwing away money. Online and even JB-HI-FI are usually cheaper for Samsung products. The store may have some accessories not available at other stores, so that's all i would actually buy here.
Galaxy book with price tag~ 1800$ is horrible touch pad that stucks . No accessories for tge faulty ones . Just horrible after service ... had to return these devices twice ... i do not recommend....
I went in with a phone <1 year, under warranty not taking cable charge. After initial inspection of my IP68-rated water resistant phone the customer service rep claimed moisture damage. This was before even opening the thing. Then he took issue with a scratch on the screen that was so slight that he could not even photograph it. He claimed that if the phone failed the water-resistance test AFTER the repair for cable charging was done, I would have to pay for a screen replacement. Wow. So now I would have to do a $275 unrelated repair without even being given an option to say no to it first. The rep claimed that the water resistance test could not be done before the repair started, which I found very hard to believe. He only backed off when I said that I would claim that it was their repair process that ruined the water resistance of the phone if they tried to pull that stunt. He still said that the repair would be delayed by at least a day because I wanted to do a water resistance test first. Samsung has already been charged by the ACCC for refusing repairs claiming moisture damage on water resistant phones, and their reps continue to behave like this? Unbelievable. Two stars because they eventually fixed the phone in a day - though trying to rip me off for a phone that is under warranty is unprofessional and not appreciated.
Very helpful and friendly staff. I had broken my phone's screen and made an appointment to have it repaired. I was late to my appointment, however the staff were very accommodating and saw to my broken phone anyway. Not only did they replace the broken screen, but also provided me with a brand new replacement battery and were very helpful with recommending a new and more secure phone case and screen protector. This is the third time I've needed to visit this Samsung Store and each and every time has been seamless and trouble-free.
Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. It all started when I went in to buy a phone from them and was told I could not buy without a parents photo id. However when asked for their privacy statement I was told that 'we don't have one it's on good faith" I stated I would not provide my parents photo id without a privacy statement the manager went off to "make some calls" at this point I'd been there for half an hour and still had no clear answers. When the manager returned he politely explained that recently the policy was changed and anyone over the age of 16 could purchase a phone without parents Id and I didn't have to provide id I could just buy the phone. At this point I was so over it I purchased the phone and a screen protector to protect it. The very next day that screen protector that had been applied at home by following the instructions just fell off. I soon went back to Samsung and explained that it had fallen off and provided a receipt. I would have understood if they said they couldn't replace the screen protector but worth a try. However I was told that the manager had agreed to provide a free film screen cover to replace my faulty 45 dollar glass one but could not replace with another glass one because they had run out. I agreed and was very grateful that they would replace it for free however within a minute we spotted glass screen protectors exaclty the same that I had originally purchased so they obviously were not out of stock. I asked the nice man serving us what the story was and he disappeared to ask his manager again. He then answered that the manager had said although it was an identical screen protector it was "different stock" and I could not have it for free and would have to purchase a glass one if I wished. All in all they blatantly lied to my face and the manager really needs to learn what good customer service is. If they couldn't replace the screen protector with a new expensive glass one I would have understood but there is no need to lie to customers to try and have an easier day. I will be back again tomorrow however to talk to the manager hopefully and work it all out because I am extremely disappointed and at the moment could not suggest this store to anyone wanting a nice experience.
It cost me a fortune to fix my phone because they won't take it unless you download everything and I had to buy a large SD card to do this. When I collected my phone their system was down but the woman was very helpful in getting my phone returned to me regardless. Avoid needing repairs at all if you can!
Want to thank Samsung for such an exemplary service provided by Amy at your store. She went beyond get call of duty to assist me in resolving my technical issue. Although I purchased my phone overseas, she did not neglect me like other Samsung stores. I was most impressed with her dedication and resilience in looking into various alternatives in addressing my concerns. Thank you again for such fantastic service. In an intensely competitive mobile phone space, it is such service that will cut through all clutter and have Samsung stand above the rest. Well done Samsung. Cheers Siva
I visited the store as my phone had recently stopped charging. The wait was a little long considering there were lots of staff waiting around doing nothing, but once I got seen the service was fantastic. My customer service rep first tried cleaning my charging port, and when that didn't work, immediately offered to replace the device as it was covered under warranty. They let me use their computers to pull up my proof of purchase, and made the whole process so simple and streamlined. I left less than half an hour later with a brand new phone and a smile on my face.
