Was browsing the JB site for a new TV and saw that the Samsung 65” QLED Q60D was on sale for $1015. Didn’t have time to book it online right there and then but since I was going out that way I thought I would just pop into the store on Victoria Ave and purchase it then with delivery. Anyway, was greeted by the sales guy and he said, sorry but it’s out of stock. He said another customer just asked him the same thing and he has a display unit only. I asked whether there’s any at any other JBHIFI store. He checked his little PDA and said nope, nothing.nnHe then tried to sell me the TCL which was $1100 or something like that. I said you sure you have nothing in the warehouse and he said that there’s nothing in Australia and doesn’t know if we will get them in. Again tried to sell me the TCL. Felt like this bloke didn’t want to help as he wasn’t going to get his sales commission or his his sales numbers could be wrong, maybe they don’t have KPIs or commission.nnLiterally came home, logged online, ordered the Samsung 65”, paid delivery and the order was confirmed. Received a text asking me whether I wanted the TV delivered on Monday! What’s happened to customer service at this store? I’m assuming he could of easily helped me on the spot as the distribution warehouse should house all their products for their retail stores and online stores?
Finn delivered outstanding, friendly assistance, addressing my concerns about choosing the right product. His professional and approachable demeanor was impressive, thoroughly researching the product and confirming store policies to ensure my confidence. Unlike less favorable experiences elsewhere, Finn's exceptional, friendly service and expertise stood out. The staff were consistently professional and welcoming. I highly recommend this store.
It's a late review, but I've been meaning to appreciate Ginny from the store. We entered the store worried that we might not find what we needed, but we walked out with happy faces, thanks to Ginny!nnWe were looking for an iPad cover, and she was really helpful, even encouraging us to check out more items we might need without rushing us. She was also honest about whether an item had recently been price-matched.nnWe didn’t get to explore the entire area, but with helpful staff like her, I’d recommend visiting for your electronics needs.
