Must visit store for all art n craft supplies, home decor, bedding, blinds etc. Ample parking, lift availability for trolley. Staff is helpful too. Bought bath mats and blinds, quality is good and price is reasonable.
The young man working in the curtains department yesterday 4th Jan 2023 was fabulous. He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He made the trip pleasant and successful as we got exactly what we needed. As to the store in general, I like the fact that it has undercover parking especially as it was rainy yesterday. The store is generally well laid out and stocked. The toilet could probably be better signposted.
It's hard to know how to rate Spotlight. I think they have a good range of essential items but the stores always look a bit grunge, no matter how organised / neat or new they are. However, they have an amazing range of stock in their unique retail niche.
It's hard to taste this place as its big and has lots of parking and items. Staff are polite, but the place feels vacant. It's a ghost town and no music or feel. Really not inviting to hang around. Also very hard to find staff to help as there isn't many. Look it's OK but not a place where you feel comfortable to shop. You go there get what you want and go. Coffee shop closed and feels abandoned
A massive thank you to Lisa at the Spotlight Castle Hill store. I must've looked like a fish out of water when I came in yesterday much more comfortable in Bunnings, and the assistance she provided in getting me what I needed was amazing. All with a smile and a wonderful sense of humour. I hope the management team there recognize her value.
I moved out of the area just over a year ago and this store had stock of an item I wanted that my local didn't so I made the trip. The store had had a bit of an update and I was surprised. It looks heaps good. Oh and I discovered the store had toilets.
It is a treasure trove of arts and crafts supplies that I sort of wish I could think of a use for, but OMG it is an overwhelming and confusing place. So much stuff and hard to find your way around, feels like a mad jumble. Good undercover parking and easy to access.
Lots of variety in products. Nice fabrics. Lack of staff to ask questions unless you queue the same queue they're serving. With little time you end up leaving without finding that product.
Seriously terrible service! Suki at the till is probably the only helpful one in this huge shop. Only looking for frames, went online showed lots in stock… went to spotlight none on the shelf, tried to find someone who could help….15 minutes later found a lady who was not interested in helping at all. Didn’t even give me eye contact and told me “well if none on the shelf we don’t have any” Now surely spotlight this is BAD for business? I was happy to spend money in your shop. I’m sure no one from spotlight will even read this comment … so nothing will change ‍‍
Its one of the bigger Spotlights i have been to. Great variety and organised appropriately. It has fabrics, party stuff, crafts and painting materials, homeware, sewing materials,decorations, etc Great store for any creative people.
