Everyone is really nice and the nurses & doctors a supportive team. Even though they're really busy at times, they do their best to be efficient and professional.
The best people we ever met My daughter was born last week in Gosford Hospital and we received 5 star service Very friendly and professional staff, from the time we entered the hospital we felt like home. We are very happy with the service and thank every single staff especially the friendly midwives.
I went to Gosford Hospital yesterday as I had an appointment with the Gynecologist. The girls at the desk were friendly and efficient and I barely sat down when a Doctor came out calling my name. After answering a few questions the Gynecologist came into the room and explained the procedure to me. I was treated with respect and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you
Arrived to ED on Monday night 25/7/22 at about 1930 hrs. I was in a massive amount of pain which later found out it was kidney stones. The place was busy as usual, seen by triage in under 5mins. Triage nurse was fantastic in her job, taken through to fast track where 2 male nurses a a young female nurse also fantastic in their jobs all worked so well together, massive amount of team nursing displayed, hooked me up with IV fluids and pain relief and then later seen by Dr. Was then admitted into short stay unit where the nurses were changing shift for night staff to start their long night. The 2 young female staff that took care of me through to 4:30 am on the Tuesday really went above an beyond! I felt safe and well looked after. Constant checking on me, updating me with progress and all this while looking after a large amount of other patients. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me. Highest standards of nursing care displayed. Outstanding all around Thank u all again!
Father-in-law been in ICU for over three weeks. We can not thank all staff enough for the care he has received over this time. The dedication of the team is amazing from the Cleaning, Catering, Nursing, Drs and support workers to the lovely Cafe staff we thank you all
Last Sunday my husband was taken to the hospital emergency via ambulance. I can’t emphasised enough the great care he received in both the ambulance emergency and after care departments. A special mention to the pharmacist who attended who made sure me had his Parkinson’s tablets before she went home and the Doctor who took care of him.
THANK YOU GOSFORD HOSPITAL J6 ICU My sincere thanks & appreciation to the J6 ICU staff at Gosford Hospital for giving me second, third & fourth chances to live life more fully for longer. Your heartfelt care & sustained persistence to keep me with my family exceeded all probability, went beyond the brink of duty, and into the realm of miracles. Without your boundless encouragement to stay strong & keep fighting, my end story would be far different; indeed tragic. You are the true miracles. I still can’t believe how each & every one of you — doctors, nurses, technicians & supporters — manage to cope under such demanding & often heartbreaking circumstances, all-shift / every-shift. You’re the hardest working & most dedicated I know. You are all angels, and your understanding, compassion & tender care will always be remembered with unrestrained fondness & gratitude. All our thanks, love & best wishes … Phil Lomas & Family. J6 ICU Gosford Hospital: July 5-19, 2022
Took our distressed 93 year old mother there, in a wheelchair, 7am Dec 19th 2022. Triaged straight away and wheeled straight to a bed - the nursing staff were very attentive thankyou Kahlia and Rebecca. It was a full house but we felt secure in the knowledge that our case would be dealt with asap. It was 4hrs before Dr Adrian was able to assess mum himself and subsequently deal successfully with her issues been there for 5 1/2hrs at that stage. Mum was not in a life or death situation but was very distressed - the geriatric nurse manager came to see her as did the Snr Doctor Nicole to check mum was doing Ok. At 1.30pm mum was wheeled around to Short Stay Emergency where nurse Jess produced a sandwich for mum and then we waited to see if there was any adverse reaction. There wasn’t. The very pleasant Dakota from Admissions came for mum to sign a form and by 2.30pm we were on our way home with a very exhausted but smiling mum! I thank all the staff for their care. Yes, it would have been nice to have done all that in just a couple of hours - they will need more staff to achieve this - but we understood that the care and treatment does have to be prioritised. Thankyou to every staff member we met in the hospital - no complaints from us!
Had to be taken to this hospital twice by ambulance recently & I find their level of professionalism, friendliness & care to be above & beyond any expectations. Absolutely everyone - paramedics, nurses, ED staff & doctors, gastroenterological team, operation theater & post operation teams, pathology staff, ordelies & receptionists - is simply amazing. The level of care is unbelievale, they treated me as their own sister, mother, daughter... I was so well looked after... Nothing seemed to be impossible, difficult, unimportant to all those wonderful people... I am extremely grateful to absolutely everyone !!!! Huge, huge thank you !!!!
Took my 4 year old son there as he was experiencing stomach pain and other symptoms. They took him in to the paed ward straight away and didn't fuss about. I appreciate how timely they were to look at him and try to help him. We went there Thursday before Christmas and got surgery to fix the issue on Friday and he was up and running on Saturay. I am absolutely blown away by the thoughtfulness and care of all staff from the ER nurses, ER waiting area staff, the staff that transport patients in their beds to different wards, the Ronald McDonald room volunteer, Paed ER Doctor and Nurses and the Fun Time staff member not their official title as well as all staff in the Paed ward, the surprise Santa visit and the the whole surgical team. Thank you everyone!! I hope you all have a happy holidays!!
