Took my daughter to the emergency department 1st time ever after having no luck trying to get an appointment with the 2 local medical centres. Lovely Nurses and Doctor we saw, understanding and compassionate. I also found the emergency department very clean and tidy.

Receptionist extremely rude and grumpy and should not be in this role and the staff in cafeteria just as bad!  Nursing staff in medical 4 were lovely.

Apart from admin staff who are incompetent, I was treated well by medical staff and prefer this hospital over Gosford Hospital. I wouldn't mind coming back at all.

The nurses here are lovely let me start by saying that. The doctor I had however was rude. Sighed constantly while I was with him as if I was an annoyance. Cold and harsh to someone who was sick and anxious. Even told me to not come back unless it was a "real emergency " though I hadn't slept for days, in pain, worried and was unable to see my regular doctor due to work. I would try elsewhere.

Great hospital, have never had to wait longer than 30 min, nursing staff A1, doctors very good, waiting times would not exist if idiots that get up to emergency with a kicked toe, cough, splinter or some other ridiculous complaint actually went to local GP's,
