Story

From the moment you arrive in the sweeping driveway of the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle you will feel the relaxation of being out of the hustle of a major CBD with the comfort of staying at a Rydges 4 ½ star hotel. During your stay you have full use of the resort-style leisure facilities. Take a dip in one of our two outdoor, heated swimming pools surrounded by tropical gardens, relax in one of three outdoor spas, there’s also a sauna and fitness centre for your convenience. The Esplanade has two Restaurants to choose from, the Atrium Garden Restaurant buffet and The Harbour Master features local line-caught grilled snapper or South WA grill dishes.

The Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle is a fantastic place to stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is perfect, close to everything Fremantle has to offer. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!
We had a fantastic staycation and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room and balcony was! All the staff we encountered were delightful, and being an atrium hotel and right near the lifts too we prepared ourselves for the room to be a bit noisy but it was beautifully quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It's a short walk from the train station and into town, the perfect place to base yourself. The two swimming pools were like a lovely fresh oasis on a hot day and perfect for relaxing on the sunbeds to read a book. So glad we chose this hotel!
Everything was lovely. BUT, I know it was my fault and take full responsibility for leaving property on site. BUT YOUR protocols need to be better in returning said lost property. I did not realise my problem till late and when I called, no one had any idea about my property. It was not till 930am next day, I was informed they found it. I was in town all day. If I was called I would have been able to pick it up, and not have the stress. Luckily I was only in Perth. But if I had a flight. When hotel services find something there should be a quicker way to contact guests. For just in case they are not far away and can return. Thank you
We can't recommend this hotel enough!nnMy girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and had the best time. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, the evening meals were delicious, and the location is second to none!nnThe whole environment of the hotel and surrounding area is incredibly friendly and we can't wait to stay again!
We stayed over Xmas and New Year, so the hotel was very lively. It's got strengths and weaknesses depending on your needs. Rooms are pretty basic and quite old in decor, but they were fine. Food was fairly average. Buffet breakfast was expensive for what it was. After a couple of days, we went out for breakfast locally, where there are lots of great places nearby. However, it did the job perfectly well overall and is well placed in the town. Overall value at that time of year was not brilliant. Would we stay again - yes, but we will look around for our next trip to Freo.
