We recently stayed at the Esplanade Hotel by Rydges in Fremantle. The hotel’s central location was convenient, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The staff provided excellent face-to-face customer service, which we appreciated.nnHowever, several issues affected our stay. The television in our room turned off every two minutes, making it unusable. The shower area had significant black mould, and there was a leak in the ceiling near the air conditioner. Additionally, after using the guest laundry facilities for two loads, our clothes were not clean.nnWe reported these concerns during our stay. The staff acknowledged them, attributing the problems to recent changes in ownership and issues with external service providers. As a goodwill gesture, we were offered complimentary drinks and waived our minibar use 2 cans of soft drink.nnUnfortunately, after our departure, we were charged for the drinks that were meant to compensate for the inconveniences we experienced. This oversight was disappointing and detracted from the otherwise positive aspects of our stay.nnI hope the hotel addresses these issues promptly to improve the experience for future guests.

Might be silly, but this is the first time I’ve had a robe supplied within a hotel room and that small thing means I will remember this hotel forever nEverything else - the bed, TV, balcony area etc were clean and well presented. The jet bath looked amazing but we didn't get around to trying it, nor the pool that looked even better

We had a fantastic staycation and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room and balcony was! All the staff we encountered were delightful, and being an atrium hotel and right near the lifts too we prepared ourselves for the room to be a bit noisy but it was beautifully quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It's a short walk from the train station and into town, the perfect place to base yourself. The two swimming pools were like a lovely fresh oasis on a hot day and perfect for relaxing on the sunbeds to read a book. So glad we chose this hotel!

I’ve stayed at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle about three times now, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.nnYou really can’t beat the location, right in the heart of Fremantle, with the beach, markets, and all the local attractions just a short walk away.nnThe hotel has a great atmosphere. To have a little getaway.

The Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle is a fantastic place to stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is perfect, close to everything Fremantle has to offer. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!
